3G used to be great. Now it is 0. Verizon is throttling Eglin AFB. Once off base the 3g becomes better.

Sprint has abyssmal service on Eglin AFB. You get NO bars in base housing, NO bars in Shalimar, NO bars in Niceville. Go with another carrier in this area. AT&T is very good on base. I can use a crappy pay as you go phone and get full bars inside these lead walled bomb shelters on base.

iPhone's keep switching between 2 g an 3G Verizon hotspot signal ok except when tyying to view video from the net. Constantly stop and go.
