Was poor when I complained four years ago they said they were building new Towers. I have few complains

Reception has been perfect in this area for us, despite having phones that are a few years old. My other half uses a Sanyo M1 phone.

Despite it's poor ratings on this website, AT&T has been great for me! I've had it for about a year now (switched from Sprint) and have never had any signal issues whatsoever!

I had AT&T / Cingular, but had BAD reception in my home. T-Mobile was one of the providers that worked in here. Even in the elevator at my work place in Las Olas blvd I have excellent reception.

Had Nokia 6010, worked through all hurricanes. Now have Nokia 6030, great reception. Never had dropped call in house. Nokia 6102i sucks, reception not good, returned phone after 1 day.

Perfect "landline-like" reception. Never any static. One dropped call in 9 months. I think some of it has to do with the phone as I get bars when others on Verizon do not.

i love my phone. I love my plan. (hate the billing errors and customer service) I have unlimited incoming calls and take full advantage. dropped calls are slim to none in my neighborhood.

CDMA 1x - Great reception even in parking garage buildings, office buildings, and elevators. Most carriers and phones get strong signals in this area. Some spots deep within Sawgrass Mills and the BankAtlantic Center may experience dropped calls.

This in the only place I know where you can get crystal clear NEXTEL reception. It by the way is NEXT to the Motorola IDEN factory where they assemble and test all NEXTEL IDEN phones for the USA. (HHmmmmmm) You will have maximum bars guaranteed for all NEXTEL phones.

My Cingular contract just ran out and I'm switching to T-Mobile because Cingular is not offering any good deals. I guess they're too good(or too stupid) to woo customers. Well Cingular's reception has always been great everywhere I've ever gone except Alcoa Tennesee, but money talks. I just hope that T-Mobile is OK. My phone arrives in a couple of days. / fingers crossed

You have to like Verizon, awsome service here in So. Fl., and when I travel, UNLIKE Sprint, who I use to have.

Great reception outdoors, indors, even in the elevator. My old phone (by LG) was almost useless in my area, but this new Sanyo MM7400 even works in a nearby underground parking garage. Love it. Sanyo=expensive, but it's worth it. P.S. Raising the antenna on my phone NEVER makes a difference P.P.S. Unless you are awaiting news of the birth of your child, please turn your cell phone off in restaurants and theatres. And if you are awaiting such big news why are you out on the town anyway? You get my point.

AT&T is the gretest GSM ever.

In 2004 after Hurricane Frances, my Nextel phone did not work and my Verizon phone did work! I then got rid of all of my Nextel phones and replaced them all with Verizon phones just in time for Hurricane Jeanne. Immediately following Hurricane Jeanne all of my Verizon phones worked flawlessly and they have continued to work well through subsequent Hurricanes in 2005, and every storm we have had since. I run a small business and we have 8 lines with Verizon, and I wouldn't dream of going to anyother carrier. I knew people with everyother carrier at the time (Sprint, Metro PCS, Cingular, Nextel, etc.) none of their phones worked. I have since learned that in the event of a power failure, all Verizon cellphone Towers are on a generator back up system. Verizon's customer service is excellent, and the have a technical services desk at their larger stores, where you can take your phone in for repair or replacement on the spot - no waiting for a replacement phone in the mail, while your phone is not working. My reception has been great everywhere, except in my own home - where reception is spotty. Verizon is not perfect, but they are far better than anyother alternative on the market today.

Change from T-Mobile to Metro PCS. With T-Mobile the phone has CERO reception inside the house, Metro works fine.

woks goo most of the time

This phone carrier is a great choice. I never get bad reception in this area. I could almost say its PERFECT. There are occasional dropped calls though. There is one thing that I absolutely hated, after hurricane Wilma metroPCS lost full service and it didn't work for weeks. Otherwise metroPCS is a great company.
