In this area my reception is great, I never drop calls or never have less that 2 bars. And I cant wait until MetroPCS brings 3G or EVDO or I think its 4G but either way my internets going to be faster.

Rarely have calls dropped on my end. Search internet with no problem even in my concrete condo building.

0 to 1 bar at best in apt complex THE PLACE AT SUMMERLIN. dropped calls are the norm and even if you go out side not much difference. called customer service multiple times and was not happy with their response(s). also same issue with Verizon wifi... .. poor signal... ... .

I am always full on bars and have never had a problem in this location.

We live on the golf course, just off of Westlinks. We never have more than 1 bar outdoors. Oh and take note, Verizon will not guarantee service within your home! So we must go outside and we constantly drop calls, receive calls where the phone never rings and often our voicemail messages take many hours to ring through. The customer service people told us we were in a minimal coverage area and we could cancel our contract with no fee. When we went to another carrier, they now told us that the customer service people had no authority to tell us that, that there MUST be a problem ticket generated and the customer service people, of course made no mention in their notes that they told us that even though they sent three replacement phones to try and rectify the problem. We switched to AT&T and have great coverage everywhere in the house.

San Carolos Park area, Fort Myers, Florida I have a Verizon air card for my laptop. For the past TWO years (contract up end of this month) I've never had a good experience receiving coverage. It takes 5 minutes (to two hours) to load a page. I see they have good ratings elsewhere but not here, believe me. Was on this website looking to see where to turn next. I need a connection that will work and thus far have spent $60 / month for the last two years on next to nothing. AT&T says it will give me 30 days to decide (returns accepted) so perhaps I'll give it that a go. Glad this website is here for sharing what can be a great savings on time and money.

The area around Healthpark Hospital is terrible, the housing community I live in, Sail Harbor at Healthpark has 0 bars, you can not get a signal in any of the homes in Sail Harbor. I'm sorry I ever left AT&T, AT&T 4 bars, Alltel 4 Bars. Sprint 0 bars, no service.

Sprint coverage in this area of Ft. Myers is dismal or worse non existant. I could have left my phone in the box it came in. As an aside, I received a call at Ft. Myers beach from Sprint asking how I liked their phone and service and in the middle of our converstation I lost the signal. Sprint never called back--typical.

Calls drop constantly in our home. My husband must goes outside to answer his phone. Our $169. per month overpriced service through Verizon is definately not worth it. They are not very customer friendly when you talk to them about service. Our other phone is a LG envie and we have no problems with that one.

Sprint is TERRIBLE... My son and I are both stuck under my Sprint contract and the service is bad in our home, when I visit family in the cape or when we go up to Providence Rhode Island. We always have the worst reception of whoever we are with with other service providers... they also have very bad customer service... I can't wait til my contract is gone to get another service immediately!

Great reception! I have never had any problem with the Verizon. Had Cingular and got terrible reception--they blamed Hurricane Charley, but it never improved--for 2 years. I counted down the days until I could switch.

I have had Verizon ever since the box phones. I have never had a problem in Florida or for a matter of fact anywhere that I have travel. The only place I have had a problem is Petersburg MI and it is only in the town. I would recommend Verizon to anyone.

Can rarely make or receive calls inide of house. Constant roaming on Verizon tower and not allowed to make any outgoing calls on Verizon tower. Called Alltel and was told they have no plans to install any towers that would help the reception in this area. Also was told nearest tower was 2.7 miles which I should be getting excellent signal, but tower may not be facing this way and cannot be fixed. Another note my other phone Motorola v710 gets 1 or 2 bars better, but still drops cals constantly. I did notice a AT&T / Cingular tower in my immediate area, and woder why Alltell will not roam on this tower, too bad. Maybe I will try AT&T / Cingular and give Alltel the boot. Alltel if you read this and want my business, fix this problem ASAP.

Major highways all over the country ok. In towns, suburbs problematic.

Poor reception and like a previous comment, Alltel tells me the service is "excellent" when they entered my street address. I understand many carriers lease space on networks and these people are first to be bumped / dropped. FYI I previous tried Sprint and Cingular and they both had worse recpetion than Altel.

Horrible! Was told by salespeople that I have GREAT reception in Gateway-lies, all lies. I have NONE. My office is off of Red Cedar Dr.and 95% of the time I go all the way from home to the office with no reception. Voicemail is terrible, calls drop all the time and it is constantly searching for a signal. Would no recommend T-Mobile to ANYONE! My sister in Atlanta has T-Mobile as well and she is just as unhappy as I am with the service.

Outside Reception 3-4 Bars Inside Reception 1-2 Bars Must be outside or near window to avoid dropped call. According to map, there is no cell phone tower close by.

Not one dropped call in past twelve months. Reception excellent.
