I get terrible reception, I have to go 14 miles to get 4 bars. customer service have offered MANY solutions, none of which works. They just keep telling me I am in a low signal area. I keep telling them that all I hear from what they say is that it sucks to be me. (and I don't talk that way.) I'm seriously thinking of changing providers but not sure how good others are.Was this review helpful to you?
They said I'm in a low signal area. Dropped calls all the time. I, like all of you, pay a lot for Verizon and this is unacceptable. They also told me that there must be a lot of people around me using the signal. Of course there are. The snowbirds are here. But that excuse is a pile of... . Snowbirds are the ones with the money who are paying them. They need to get this fixed NOW.Was this review helpful to you?
Minimal to no reception with Sprint Galaxy phone. I had to get a land line. I still have Sprint but switched to IPhone. Very good reception. Was this review helpful to you?
East Fort Myers. Rt 80 is 4 bars. One block south is 1 bar. Have Togo outside to get 2 bars. Constantly drops calls. Verizon says I'm on the "cusp" of service. They sent me a $250 unit free to hook into my wi-if modem to get better reception. There was no improvement. Looking for a new carrier. Was this review helpful to you?
Reception in Shell Point is minimal at best with Verizon. We average about one to two dots and dropped calls are a given. Can't walk from room to room without dropping a call. Verizon has "supposedly" added a new tower here, but if they did it is facing the wrong way and does not help residents on the Island at all.Was this review helpful to you?

Last year my old phone stopped receiving a signal at my house. Thinking that a newer phone would be bettet on the newer 4G LTE, I purchased an LG G3. Still no signal inside or outside my house and all around the neighborhood. T Mobile store gave me a personal cellspot to use. Even this has no bars displayed anywhere around the house. Fortunately I can send / receive calls via my Wi-Fi but magic jack can do this far cheaper, and Google would be even less. The T Mobile tower is a little over a mile away, mostly over water. Their verified coverage on Sanibel, twice as far from the tower and over water, is rated much better and my phone gets all bars there. Was this review helpful to you?
Currently on a theatrical tour, and have spent time recently in NYC, LA, Boise, Dallas, Charlotte, Durham, Baltimore, Knoxville, Tampa, Miami, and Orlando. Reception here is by far the worst. I came here while looking for solutions, because I thought maybe there was some setting I could change. I keep getting a Verizon message telling me to restart my phone - I've never heard of such a thing. I can barely get a signal at the Candlewood Suites, or at FSW, or driving around in the area. Calls get dropped constantly. Using maps is almost impossible. Was this review helpful to you?

Bought the new phone Metro suggested..said it would be better whenT-Mobil merged with Metro. Worse now than before. Sitting by a window or in the middle of the street "MOBILE NETWORK NOT AVAILABLE." or emergency call only. Metro has no answers other than I am not the only one. anyone have a good service out there? Was this review helpful to you?
