All mobile networks seem to have poor service in southeast Polk county. Need more (working) towers in this area.

I live in the middle of NOWHERE! and have 4-5 bars at all times and pretty good data connection. I've had tmobile, at&t, sprint, Verizon and boost and Metropcs is by far the best for my neck of the woods! Even the pdanet app gives my laptop wonderful internet connection! I love Metropcs and highly recommend it! and I work for T-Mobile... .shhh

When the wind blows so goes your reception! I've had several carriers that promise good reception but none have come through... Nextel was spotty. I would be in the house and my husband in the driveway and couldn't get a call to me. T-Mobile has proven to be just as bad. Missed calls and messages come in hours later or when I'm in a busier part of town. My husband was talked into the T-Mobile service by reps at Eagle Ridge Mall in Lake Wales who said that T-Mobile would pay the termination fee if we switch from Nextel and our service would be better and cheaper. I've got the same service... shotty, a bigger bill and they didn't pay the disconnect from Nextel. T-Mobile said that the reps were independent and shouldn't have promised to pay the fee. So now we have an outstanding bill with Nextel and a larger monthly bill with T-Mobile. I'm thinking of going to pay as you go. At least I know what my "bill" will be!

Spotty dropped calls No Direct Connect This appeared suddenly 3 weeks ago. Even when sitting at base of Nextel Tower with 5 Bars No Direct Connect. Nextel poor customer service states this is because they are switching from a Type 3 System to a Type 6? Sad to start getting worse since merger.
