This area of Jackson county appears to get it's coverage from a tower in SW Georiga (the phone time changes to EST in this area). Generally there are no 'bars' on the phone. Using the phone inside a building is usually not possible. For any sort of useful signal the only choice is to head outside and find a bit of elevation to call from. Family members who have Alltel at this location tend to have good service. Hopefully this will be the case for Verizon customers in 2010.

i have alltell or had alltell and Nextel,in Nextel had best plan when I got it for my business,free incoming, and radio. then alltell went to my circle and had better coverage than alltell. however now since they sold out to verison the coverage is rotten I have went back to my Nextel and get better coverage. verison was no good before and still no good as soon as contract is up I will cancel verison I am told track phone is more expensive but better service. if verison bought out Alltel why did the service change so much and if anything the office is marianna fl. got worse.
