On highway, signal is "acceptable". Near home, about a half-mile North of Hwy. 98, the signal is much lower and call tend to drop. Inside home signal is nearly absent, and I can't even check my voice mails without the calls being dropped frequently. It's a decent service for "emergency use" on the road, though there are dead areas. My contract has been expired for awhile, and I won't upgrade my phone because I don't want to be trapped in a long contract with such lousy service. I've reported this problem to Verizon at least twice and been told that it would be checked out, but I have never seen any improvement. When I contacted Verizon customer service to tell them why they were about to lose my business, they said they were sorry and offered to cancel my service. That was less than helpful, and showed they don't care about customer satisfaction.
