Metro PCS Has Improve tremendously trhis years, I have been with metro for 3 years, then they did not have good service before, but now they have a great service I can even call from inside a elevator or an old buidling and I never lose or miss a call.

The reception of Metro PCS has increased dramatically. The only complaint is that 3G is not yet in Miami. People in Orlando and Jacksonville are reporting 3G speeds and updated PRL 3020 versus Miami its still at 1x with PRL 3019.

I've never seen 5 bars on Sprint, not even close. I think the best I've seen is three bars. That said I haven't had any dropped calls and the call quality is relatively good. Data on the other hand is abysmal. Constantly dropping from 3G to 1x and their 3G is laughably slow. I find it funny how in their commercials they talk about T-Mobile throttling their speed once you reach the limit. What is funny is that at least T-Mobile is fast while you are at your limit, Sprint is painfully slow constantly. Just terrible, terrible data overall and mostly unusable. Unlimited garbage is not a good thing.

I don't have any signal inside on the first floor of my house, I have to go upstairs and even thene my calls drop

no reception on my sony in the house, but the wife gets great reception on her nokia.

As soon as you get off the Palmetto onto Miami Lakes East reception fades in and out. I must have dropped over 150 calls in the last year on my drive home. I admit there are a lot of trees in the area but nobody I know has this problem. All over Miami Lakes the reception is poor. The only thing worse was my Nextel service (those people are really clueless). Otherwise Cingular / ATT is an ok service (2nd to Verizon).

I've been with AT&T for 3 months and nothing but headaches with reception, droped calls, rude customer service, non-sent bills, and disconnections. I don't recommend AT&T to anyone. And get ready because AT&T now is owned by Cingular. Who knows what will hapen next.

AT&T is the absolutely worst carrier on the planet. Absolute worst! In the process of switching and evaluating carriers I signed up with ATT. I had them for 4 days and I had more dropped calls in 4 days with ATT than I had in 5 years with Sprint and 2 years with T-Mobile. I barely had the service for 2 days before they sent me a bill (they are quick to do that for sure), which they already screwed up charging me for services I did not order. Upon calling them, they told me I had to go back to the AT&T store to resolve my issue. I did just that, they admitted their mistake and said the corrections should be on my account in 24 hours. 2 days later my account was the same and I was once again redirected to the store. I had enough! Within 5 days I returned the phone, and cancelled my service. That should've been the end of it, but no, a month later I get a whopping $492 bill from AT&T. They were charging me and early termination fee even though I had 30 days to cancel and I canceled within 4 days! I spend hours, hours on the phone getting the run-around, getting transferred from one person to the next, having to explain my problem over again to each, before I got my charges dropped (supposedly, I still expect to receive a bill from them because they are THAT incompetent). Avoid AT&T like Aids! They are the absolute WORST!
