4G connection here is very bad. I will cancel my service soon because I don't want to pay for 4g when there's no 4g in my area

Sprint is the worst carrier I ever had in South Florida. I barely have any signal at all times and inside buildings forget it! No signal at all. I miss having T-Mobile all off all the carrier I've had. Definitively going back to them. I have contact Sprint many times about connection issues, they do nothing, supper crappy service and customer service.

Shockingly poor reception in Hollywood Lakes with AT&T. Zero bars inside the house - on rare occasion the phone might actually ring, but if you answer while still inside, it will drop almost immediately. Every call that my wife and I have to make (she has an identical iPhone 2G), we have to go out and stand in the street just to get one bar, and still more than 50% of calls are dropped. Sad that we pay a a fortune for our iPhone packages but have to rely on Gmail to make calls from home. The coverage was a little better in the Houston area, but still could not make call from inside our house. Looking forward to trying the iPhone 4 with Verizon.

I only get one bar on my Verizon phone indoors in the area. But amazingly, the call quality is still excellent and no dropped calls. I ditched ATT because of that.

It's a hit or miss if you get an incoming call or if it goes straight to voicemail. You walk around looking CRAZY, because you're trying to find 'bars' so you can make a call.

I have never had a problem with my cell phone or the reception since I've been with Verizon. Can't believe it when my friends using othe providers have dropped calls. I just look at them in disbelief and ask them if they still own typewriters.

When I got this data phone, my reception was just fine. Although, I noticed my brother had the same carrier but had a Motorola and did not have good reception indoors... Now I recently received very poor coverage, I have to stand by the window and sometimes get a signal, but will always get a drop call. This is very annoying to the nth power.

I cannot get reception inside my house. I cannot even send a text, I get no bars. I get my voicemail alert days after the voicemail has been sent. This phone is the abosulte worse! Ergononically not efficient. Too many steps just to make one call.

I dont understand how Cingular has the nerve to run commercials about having the fewest dropped calls, or dead air time. This is my 3rd different phone all different manufacturer in 2 years, so I am convinced its the service. Forget using data its worse than the old 22k modems.

Had a problem recently for a whole weekend without signal. All phones were stuck in emergency mode and could only place 911 calls. Occasionally calls do not come through and go straight to voicemail. Service seemed to downgrade since the movement to 3G. It seems that "towers" go down a lot more often now according to reps / CSRs. When I am able to make calls there are generally no problems. Only when traveling on highways do I experience dropped calls.

Listen up folks, Cingular call me and admits it has low radio fequency coverage near my office, Sheridan and 46th in Hollywood and near my home, Ives Dairy Rd, east of I-95 and it has no plans to improve coverage! In other words, this mult-billion dollar company admits it sucks!

We also have a 3588i by Nokia on this account which suffers the same drop call ratio. We moved from South Beach (11th and West Ave) and since moving to Hollywood, calls drop constantly from our new apartment. We're on the top floor, and can see the Cell tower at Pembroke east of I95 line of sight and still the calls drop. One second 4-5 bars, next moment no connection. I've been calling Sprint for almost 3 months and been given every possible answer known. Now they're offering to waive my termination fee to switch to Nextel with no guarantee that I won't have the same problem again. After reading the postings here, it's clear that there is a problem with the tower at Pembroke Road. Otherwise, I can drive from Sobe to Palm Beach without any interruption of service on the same call.

The Nextel service has to be the worst in US. It goes from no service, to dropped calls and back to no service. I've used two different phones and the service just sucks. I get reception in one part of the room and then get no service ten feet away. The radio works very well, unfortunatly not everyone has a phone with a radio. somedays two cups and a string seem to work better.
