Verizon's coverage is generally very good, but unfortunately it is terrible in my neighborhood.

Reception in the street is just OK, I do get a lot of strange connections with echos, etc. But in the house it is too poor to use, I have to at least go out on the porch for a consistent signal. It used to be very poor about 2 years ago, got better, then got a bit worse about a year ago and has stayed that way. I see from this website that there is a Nextel tower right next to us, I wonder if they have internet data service...

Verizon Wireless is the Best Cell Service provider. I have had all, AT&T, Cingular, Sprint, Metro PCS, and Omni Point, Non of them can do what Verizion Did. Hurricane Wilma Cell phone worked all during the storm. Travled to Alaska this year in 2005 Aug to Talketna Alaska near Danali Park. I was the only one with Cell Service. This Says it all Your Crazy if your not on Verizon. They are the BEST.

Not just this phone, I had an LG and a Nokia with the same carrier, you have to hold your left hand up to get a signal.

Since Wilma, I have not been able to use my phone. Since Sprint / Nextel merger, things have gone seriously downhill. Reception,when it works, sounds tinny and I have a Cadillac phone. I have three other 1730's and they are the same. I am out of here because this is not "how business gets done" Verizon here I come. By the way, I do not jump ship frequently. I have had only two carriers since 1984: Bellsouth and Nextel. Nextel / Sprint really s*cks.

I have no recepton in my house and most of the area. The phone constantly drops calls, the companie has replaced it with the same phone three times. the phone sucks. I am not sure about the service ill have to try a new phone. I think Nokia is much better.

Cingular service sucks! So the Motorola V400. The phone locks up and drops calls constantly. If I drive between trees, especially on Davie Rd extension between Stirling and Griffin. In the house, if I move my head the bars drop! The customer service at Cingular is even worst. They could not care less and offer no help whatsoever! I can't wait for my contract to be over.

I have been with T-Mobile for 16 months now and have had this NOKIA 6600 and out of 7 bars total, I've only had 5 when the hurricanes hit and all the other times I have had perfect signal.

Works outside the house, but inside calls drop constantly

Cingular just sucks now. Used to be good all across the country, but the number of calls that DON'T get dropped is easier to count now. Customer service could really not care less. I've already cancelled one line, and will cancel the other as soon as I can. Thumbs down, big time!
