Don't have a "smart phone. " I have had Verizon for over 8 yrs. Fantastic reception almost everywhere I have ever been. Including all over the Western US and Eastern US. My adult children recently switched over to Sprint due to "unlimited" data. You get what you pay for. Service is spotty and I can tell the difference in the quality of the calls. They wished they had not switched over. Unfortunately, their billing is a pain. They nickle and dime you and you have to check your bill EVERY month for xtra unauthorized charges. My co-worker has Metro PCS and constantly loses calls from her kids or they flat out don't even come thru. Again, you get what you pay for. No one has the coverage of Verizon.

I have never had a problem with my cell phone or the reception since I've been with Verizon. Can't believe it when my friends using othe providers have dropped calls. I just look at them in disbelief and ask them if they still own typewriters.

I just bought a T-Mobile. Switching from Metro brings relief. I never get reception in my house, and T-Mobile never goes below 4 bars. Great job!

Rarely have problems! There were some "Call Failed" issues about 6-9 months ago, but since then - no problem! Very satisfied with the service in this neck of the woods

Verizon Wireless is the Best Cell Service provider. I have had all, AT&T, Cingular, Sprint, Metro PCS, and Omni Point, Non of them can do what Verizion Did. Hurricane Wilma Cell phone worked all during the storm. Travled to Alaska this year in 2005 Aug to Talketna Alaska near Danali Park. I was the only one with Cell Service. This Says it all Your Crazy if your not on Verizon. They are the BEST.

I have been with T-Mobile for 16 months now and have had this NOKIA 6600 and out of 7 bars total, I've only had 5 when the hurricanes hit and all the other times I have had perfect signal.

Perfect reception. No dropped calls. I use my phone all the time for both voice and data. Constant data speeds as well. Moved from Nextel a yr ago, and havent looked back since. Nextels service in the area went down hill, frequently busy, could not make outbound calls, callers going to voicemail, and text messages were delayed.

Good signal from Johnson St. and University Dr. all the way up past 595 on University Dr. The ATT TDMA has had good reception over most of Broward county, but since the merger with Cingular the billing has been terrible. Recieved an overbill of $140.00 which they credited after 2 hours on the phone and line by line review. Similar months. I am now switching to Motorola v180 and GSM with the new ATT & Cingular. I will be reviewing the 33317, Davie area, soon... I feel that the merger combined with the move toward more GSM technogy may prove better reception as time goes on... time will tell.
