Older model LG. No problem making or receiving calls anywhere in the Keys so far. Reception sketchy sometimes when I am near the meat counter in Publix. Also have LG MiFi4510L; 5bars constantly at this location. Device has 4G capability, but only get 3G reception here.

0 to 2 is my normal outside, inside it's 0. The service was much better when it was Cingular.

There are very few places that I can get service to send a text, let alone make a phone call; my phone works best when I have no bars (which is extremely odd in my opinion). I am seriously considering switching carriers.

Very poor inside the house. We have to stand in the middle of the street to use the phone when we are at home. Years ago I called to complain and was told the engineers were working on it. I don't know what they've been working on, but it hasn't been to improve reception in Key Largo.

I have to go 200 feet to the highway to get1 bar. Coverage off US! (Overseas hwy) is very spotty at best.

On a 3 acre property that fronts Blackwater Sound the Nextel reception varies from okay to non- existent. Inside a building? Forget about it. This is a maintenance service phone and more often than not calls for maintenance are not received. Voice mail and text messages arrive whenever a signal is present long enough to "catch up" but that doesn't get the job done. I've had T-Mobile and signal strength was generally poor unless I registered with the nearest tower. Verizon provided pretty good service, but others haven't had consistently good reception. I tried Cingular a couple of years back and had the same problems as I've had with Nextel. Maybe there isn't a solution to cellular in The Keys?

AT&t has very poor reception in The Sanctuary Condominium Complex at Sanctuary Dr. in Key Largo. Bars of reception are one or two. Many times cell phone swithches to emergency mode due to weak signal. At this complex there are about 10 ATT customers. For some unknown reason ATT Customer sevice is not willing to do anything about. Do not understand why?

in and around Key Largo (5 of 5) and even off shore 2 to 3 of 5) I get good coverage (northern reefs it can get a little spotty). But in my house (metal roof and steel studs in the walls) I get very poor coveage. I understand the metal interferes with it and it is better near windows but sitting here at my desk next to a window with the phone sitting untouched in its dock my reception varies from No signal to 5 bars and everything in between from minute to minute which makes no sense to me! Note that this is true of visitors to my house with other phones and other carriers so the poor coverage in my house is not an ATT or iphone thing but not sure about the variability. A 2nd tower in Key Largo would be nice!

Idk, around the keys it's pretty intermitent. For the most part though, outside of buildings it's pretty good reception. INISDE any building, however, forget it. 0 bars. I ALWAYS have to walk outside for anything.

No reception in ANY structure on Key Largo. Adequate reception along O / S HWY and Stretch. Very poor reception at power plant in Florida City. Does anyone down here have Alltel?

Coerage varies from 1 to 2 bars throughout property. Inside many of the buildings there is no coverage. Some areas calls are dropped or not connected.

Very bad reception, none in any enclosed structure. Lots of calls dropped, many calls never received. Sucks!

No service most of the way down the 18 miles strech from Florida City to the Monroe County line.

I get no reception in or around my house but 1 block away and it is fine. I was told that I should not have a problem because there are 12 towers in the Keys. I was also told that a Tri Mode phone would most definitely fix the problem. I spent the money (too much) and it hasn't. I have 6 months left on my contract and feel I have wasted way too much money already. I just wish they would address the problem there are many further back in my neighborhood that have it worse than I do.
