Absolutely no reception inside my house or immediately outside of it. I get decent reception in some parts of Lakeland but will often lose it if I am driving near a bunch of power lines. I wouldn't recommend Sprint to anyone looking for a provider in Lakeland.
To get Virgin service we must drive at least 2-3 miles from home. We had Nextel before and it was just as bad. Many friends that have other companies also have problems placing and receiving calls from our home. There is a tower at Cleveland Heights Golf Course, but we still have no service. We went with Virgin because of the cost of Nextel for the few minutes that we used per month.
T-Mobile is one of the few providers that get any bars on the first floor of my office - and T-Mobile has full bars. It has great coverage throughout the city. I can get calls, emails, internet, etc while my co-workers have nothing and miss call after call (Cingular is worst - they get no bars and callers are told their phone is not in service)
AT&T Was great before Cingular bought them out. Now I get dropped calls, and lots of fast busys when trying to make a call. It has gotten better, but I'm not satisfied anymore. Nextel is even worse. Tin can and wax string works better! Thinking of trying out Verizon if they are any better.
