In the cities of Largo, Seminole and Pinellas Park, I get very poor reception, many times completely cutting out or going dead. I have a hard time even using it inside my apartment so, obviously, there are no nearby towers. The only time I have full service coverage is in Tampa. Recently, while driving south through Bradenton, the phone was completely without signal until I was nearer to Sarasota. My contract ends in 2 weeks. I won't be renewing with T-Mobile.

3 out of 4 bars, since that is what the phone has. Consistently good signal, no dropped calls. No matter where I am in home. May be near the tower, there are 2 within a half mile that I have noticed. Others who have complaints may be because of terrain, distance from tower, buildings between, phone model, etc. The Internet service on this phone is useless, no matter what signal strength. Annoying since it wasn't wanted, forced upon through service package with extra charge. An AT+T Blackberry in the same location works as well as my cable Internet service, and I don't use a wireless router for it to go through. Really like the phone service, don't like the Internet service.Just glad I don't need it.

T-Mobile use to be really good anywhere I went but now it is so hard to get a signal anywhere I go with them. I have been with them over 10 years now and I am working on getting out of my contract due to them not being able to provide me with the service on my 3 lines that I have with them. I hope I have better luck with Sprint or Verizon

I switched from Alltel to Verizon 7 months ago and what a mistake that was. Our reception at our house is so poor that we have to hang up and call back on the land line. Verizon admits that they have poor signal strength in our area but there is no forecast for when it might be corrected.

TMobile just put up 3 new towers in this area in the past few months. I got letters in the mail from them telling me and went to the store and they showed me on their system that actually 3 were put up. T-Mobile service is getting better every day in the Largo and Clearwater areas.

ATTWS has awesome coverage here and continuously up and down Belcher Rd. from Tyrone Blvd. north through E Bay Dr. Tower placement has a lot to do with this. Anyone considering should keep in mind that I am using a newer GSM phone which gets both 850 and 1900 GSM.

Fair coverage (2-3 bars) on Hamilin Blvd. from 102nd Ave N to Walsingham Rd. Approaching 6 bars when nearing Walsingham Rd. NOTE: I get crystal clear coverage, even at 1 bar! (on my phone)

I have 1 or 2 bars at my home address and reception is very poor. Most locations I travel to, in and out of Florida reception is very good. You would think with high density areas such as Pinellas co. Cingular would have an adaquate number of towers for full coverage.

Great reception everywhere. I have used Alltel for 6 years and everywhere you go you have a good signal. They have more towers in the Tampa market because they were formerly GTE which spent about 30 years developing the system. They are the only system that can handle people using unlimited minute plans. Plus they were the only cell phone company to have service during the hurricanes FYI.
