Great service with Verizon about 95% of the time. Usually have all bars and calls and text messages go through quickly. Occasionally at back of house may have to resend a text or have a delay in a call going through. Mostly think this happens during really peak times so suspect it is a network issue. Always have great sound quality and calls are clear and never drop. My only complaint about Verizon is they charge too much and don't really have plans to meet my calling patterns, I have to overbuy minutes to qualify for my unlimited data usage which is important to me. Silly to pay for minutes I never use just so I won't get killed on text charges.

Where I live in Lehigh Acres and Alltel is the only phone that I have actual reception in my home. I had Sprint but had to go outside my house to get a signal and use my phone. Inside my home I have between 3-4bars reception. I've also had several friends that use other carriers... .verizon, nextel, Cingular and metro PCS and none of these had more than 1 bar and dropped calls almost immediately after connection. For country club east area I highly recommend alltel.

4-5 bars, 5 at night indoors. I have had Alltel for 5 years now and the reception gets better and better, Even up north when I am in Michigan. Up in the UP of Michigan I even get coverage.

I went from Sprint to AT and T. From in the house my calls are constantly in and out. Outside on the porch the same thing. I'm not happy with AT and T or Sprint in this area.

I have a job that involves a lot of travel around fort myers every work day. I work from the back of lehigh acres in 33936 all the way to south fort myers and estero. Call reception and quality is fine outdoors, however to make a call in any structure you have to stand by a window to make sure the call doesn't drop and you don't break up. It's not really that bad though only happening occasionally. The major issue is the data speeds which are almost non-existent. Every single zone I work in I am completely unable to use any kind of web surfing or streaming video. With speeds as low as.10 Mbps. Sprint will not do anything for you and clicking on the network upgrade process map only shows past updates to local cell towers and upcoming updates in the next 6 months. There are no specific dates or upgrade descriptions when you click on a tower. Heavy data users should avoid Sprint in this area as it is useless. You cannot break contract and Sprint will do nothing for you.

I have so so reception in parts of my home. Very little in the bedroom at times, again so so in the kitchen. I get NO RECEPTION at the airport where I work. Very inconvient. I am planning a change very soon. My zip is actually 33973 and has been for over 3 years, but your system says it is not valid

On average, I get 1 - 2 bars. Even when I have 0 bars, I have never dropped any calls but maybe once in 2 years. I even had service during Hurricanes Charley and Wilma. I also use broadband internet with my phone (EVDO). My broadband signal for some reason is always about -10db stronger than the celular 1X. Not sure why. Regardless, I wish Verizon would increase their broadband coverage. Over the last year, For some unknown reason I have lost about 15% of my broadband signal. I used to average about -71db most of the day. This was 1 year ago. These days I average around -84db EVDO, and -95db for 1X celular. I also do a PRL update once a month. This is a roaming list update that can be done on Verizon by dialing *228 then option 2. I don't know how this is done on other carriers though. It may help with dropped calls and poor reception. Overall, I have no real complaints about Verizon except for the cost. Another note on VZW coverage here in Lehigh. Coverage east of Joel blvd starts getting very spotty. Alltel is a better option in that area. A friend of mine lives several blocks E-NE of Country Club lane (off Joel). His Alltel service on average is around 2 bars on an LG Voyager phone. On my Verizon Q9M, I'll have mostly 0 bars. Making a phone call from this location is possible but it takes longer to connect and the audio quality is a little choppy, but still works. Txt messages will at often times lag before they will completely send out. I have not been over there in about a month or so. Service may or may not be improved, that is if Verizon has merged their towers in with Alltel's... from the recent merger.

The main purpose in purchasing the Galaxy S2 was to use it. Unfortunately, with minimal at best reception (Cellular and Internet) my phone is always searching and loading. This causes my battery to die within 6-8 hours on standby. 3-4 hours with actual usage. At this point.. Id rather pay a few extra bucks for Verizon than keep what I have and get nothing. Sprint really needs to step it up.

Sprint reception here in lehigh is horrible. Sprint needs to step up with their towers here.

3 of the same make and model cell phones, all get 0 to 2 bars. Terrible reception. Sprint always wants you to take the time to take all of the phones to a service center to be checked. Our phones work great all over the country except when we are at home. It's not a problem with 3 phones, it a lack of signal in this area.
