Had pretty good reception until about a month ago, now I can barely get out at all. I can hear incoming but they cannot hear me. Thought it was phone but it works fine on Eau Gallie. AT&T claims nothing has changed. Who knows? Was this review helpful to you?
Dropped calls, and Terrible reception ! Forget about AT&T mobil service in Melbourne Beach, south beaches area. Customer service is terrible as well. Was this review helpful to you?
STAY CLEAR OF AT&T IN THE MELBOURNE AND INDIALANTIC AREA! AT&T removed their cell tower which was shared with the local water tower. At&T has tried to cover up the lack of service in the area by denying that any changes have occured. They have moved tempory cell towers into the area but there is little to no coverage in our area. In classic AT&T form, they have no solution for the issue and no date for a long term solution. I have been with AT&T for 12 years, but will not give them any business going forward. Their true colors for customer service have come through over this process. Was this review helpful to you?
Reception has been great for the last two years. Full reception inside and outside. Starting three weeks ago, we have no reception inside and the reception outside is from no reception to broken reception. AT&T says that they have no issues with their tower in our area. We've had it with their bad customer service... Now they are delivering on the service we are paying for. Goodbye AT&T.Was this review helpful to you?

Dropped calls, very bad voice quality, works even bad when using it outside only. Most of the time incoming calls going to voicemail. Was this review helpful to you?
Fantastic coverage from Sprint after new tower put up two years ago.Was this review helpful to you?
Had better reception when I had a PA. area code 3-5 bars... relocated phone to local area code and prefix now 0-3 bars using same local towers. AT&T says "sorry you'll just have to live with it" and since I'm under contract I guess I will. Was this review helpful to you?
Very happy with this Samsung C417 (the cheapest phone they offer) all the way from Ocean avenue to the flashing light on Floridana Beach., 11 miles south. Never had a dropped call, reception is clear. This phone stays charged and operable on stanby for over 4 days without a re-charge.Was this review helpful to you?
-110dBm is typical signal which is practically useless. Was this review helpful to you?
For two years we enjoyed good reception, but for the last year (starting long before the hurricanes) reception dropped to almost zero. Sprint claims that none of their towers is out of commission, but we're getting virtually no service on our four phones in exchange for $143 per month. Don't make the same mistake. Was this review helpful to you?
Nextel has not recovered from the hurricanes. The service in the Melbourne area and particularly on the beachside from the Eau Gallie causeway south through Melbourne Beach is terrible. After the hurricanes the two way was still relaible but that has actually degraded to being almost useless a peak times. Calls to their fabulous Customer Care describe "many towers down in Florida" as though this area was totally devistated and even if it was, it's been a month, why have things become even worse. Was this review helpful to you?
