I observed a degradation in service for the last 2 weeks. This weekend was the straw that broke the camel's back. The AT&T service here is horrible now. I've had to re-dial due to dropped calls about 40 times this weekend and that's no exaggeration. I hate AT&T.

I was able to use my laptop wireless card until August when Verizon took over the Alltel tower. Now my upload / download speeds have been reduced to less than that of dial-up Internet. It's horrible! I have spoken to Verizon technical services support four times and each time, I have received a different excuse for the bad service. They have also promised to get back with me within 48 hours on the last two contacts and have NEVER done so. Bottom line is if you expect to use a Verizon broadband internet card in Mexico Beach, you will be disappointed.

Just moved to mexico beach and the Service is Perfect where i'm at, I can see the tower from my house. The coverage goes up and down through out the town. If your on the beach, u might get 1 to 2 bars, but I have not droped out when i'm at the beach. Going west on 98 towards tyndall, u get 1 bar until u get near another tower halfway between Mexico beach and tyndall. Going east towards Port St. joe, u get no bars to 1 maybe. But overall, service is great for me in Mexico beach...
