Switched from Cingular due to dropped calls, or calls that went straight to voice mail without ringing. Thoroughly satisfied with Verizon service from Palm Beach to South Beach. I do wish CDMA / Verizon had a more inspired choice of handsets... ... .

Drops the calls every time. Cingular sucks. The merger with AT&T has not helped. Considering a switch to T-Mobile or Verizon. Both are top ranked throughout the country.

Full signal on street side of building, yet you can garantee dropped calls when you go to the bay side along West Avenue.

Calls are constantly being dropped--even worse, inside my apartment, sometimes signal goes from full bars to no service -- while phone is not being moved. Signal almost always drops while going over bridges.

For no reason whatsoever, I can go from having a full signal to NO signal. I have to turn the phone off then back on to get a signal back. Reception seems to have gotten about 80% WORSE in the past year that I've had this service here. The price goes up and the service goes down... seems about right for Nextel. I dont need direct connect that badly to have to deal with at least 10 dropped calls per day because one of their towers decided to drop my call for no apparent reason.

AT&T's GSM network is the absolute worst. Half of the time, when I try to place a call in the evening, I get a big red stop sign that says "system busy." When the sytem is not busy, my phone calls last only two to three minutes before they are dropped. Quite often, I dial a saved phone number (that I know is correct), and get some random person's phone. Conversely, I recievce misrouted phone calls from other AT&T customer.

It doesn't work in any building or at FIU. Works fine outside. Works good while driving. It doesn't have such a good receptiion in North Miami Beach. T-Mobile has the best customer service ever! I am their customer from last two years and am never disappointed. Sprint has the worst customer service. A friend of mine even told me that they charge for calling customer service.
