There seem to be shadows of coverage in this area. You can have decent reception, and take a step in any direction and lose your call.

Signal is great in Miami, Doral, Orlando and Ocala however the worst service ever. Drop calls left and right. I am always on the phone. I had about 10 dropped calls a day in Orlando. In Miami and Doral I had about 3-5 dropped calls daily. Driving on the turnpike - dropped calls constantly. MetroPCS sucks, Sprint sucks, TMobile is good for the money however too congested. Prefer Cingular or Verizon.

Family with multiple carriers. This area (West Kendall) is notorious for being a reception black hole. 2 phones on Sprint with 1-3 bars that can be used in parts of the house within 10ft of the windows. 1 company phone on Nextel which works only at the windows. 3 phones on Verizon that are totally useless inside the house, must go outside to make calls and must run outside to answer the phones or the call drops upon answering. These three phones are different models, so clearly, "it's the network" as their advertising states. 1 phone on MetroPCS that works flawless. This is ridiculous when all the other major carriers are technically useless. Used to have Cingular TDMA and also worked flawless. No idea how Cingular or T-Mobile GSM work around here, but my guess is reception probably sucks too.

i got a new phone because Sprint said it would solve the dropped call problem I was having... i usually have plenty of bars, but the calls drop ALL THE TIME! it's so annoying. in a given night I will have to redial a number 4+ times to complete what would have been a 20 min conversation. it's gotten bad since the Nextel merger but Sprint totally denies any problems.

I am suprised to see how badly ppl rated Sprint. I live in Country Walk and have used friends' Cingular phones (Moto v600 and others) and had dropped calls. I have yet to lose a call with Sprint. I work less than 3 miles down 137 ave and even in the elevator, do not lose signal strength. I do not like the features that Sprint phones offer, but the service is great. Have not had to deal with customer service yet, but I heard they are a real pain. Overall, no complaints.

This has to be the worst service. When Im on Biscayne, signal comes and goes. Then, when I go east on 105th Street, forget it.

I've experienced very poor reception in all but a few areas. I am not able to hold an incoming call in my office for more than 60 seconds - rather embarrssing.
