Some areas inside building have no reception at all. Other areas have very poor; you have to go near a window to make a call; to keep from dropping a received call (if you're lucky enough to receive it) you have to go near a window also. Started service in 01 / 2012 and it wasn't great, but in March it became worse. Did Verizon give up the lease to one of their cell towers in the Miami area? Contrarily, people with other carrier service report that their service is better.

Once inside South Miami Hospital reception disappears. Outside is 4G LTE. People on Sprint get service inside the hospital; however, their voice quality is terrible.

Horrible reception at Mystic Pointe. I'm in Tower 200. Barely any signal inside my apartment or anywhere in the building. Tmo and ATT have full signal though.

Switched from AT&T to Verizon due to their claims of better coverage. Bad mistake. AT&T always had full bars, Verizon jumps between four and two, (mostly two) in my house. Tech says it may be the radio on the Tour, but I'm getting my 3rd Tour today and if I still have the problem, I'm switching unless VZ let's me try a different phone. Not cool Verizon.

Verizon beats all other carriers period. Their plans aren't as accomodating or as generous as others. It would be great if they had rollover minutes.

I have never had any problems with reception. PERIOD. It's so good, I can make a phone call in the middle of my school in a closet without a problem. On a trip to Orlando, I've observed the bars on my phone go up and down several times, but I think that's just going from tower to tower. Verizon's the only service I know that can get this kind of comment. I think Verizon's the best.

Miami Shores has never had good coverage (by any carrier). I've tried multiple carriers with not much luck. My PDA signal here is 1 bar if we're lucky (signal in house is worse then outside), but PDA internet and texting are fairly good.

Works seamlessly. Never had a problem with the exception of ONE place: Travelling I-95 towards S. Beach approaching the Biscayne Exit - the phone always, and I repeat, always conks out when I hit that spot. Other than that - never have a problem elsewhere. Think I'll keep Verizon around while the "getting's good."

Again, this phone suffers from the same service as the V90 so it is not phone related, it's Verizon related. Almost no service inside, outside is OK but dropped calls are very common.

I don't know how much money I have spend on cell phones. Any have good reception, but if you want finish the contrat, you have to pay $175.00, $200.00, even if you don't have signal. It is a "round" bussines. Do not you think so? Really, it is not fear.

I have a 3 yr old Nokia that gets excellent reception everywhere but my office on the first floor. It works fine upstairs but as soon as I get to the first floor it either goes dead or I get only one bar. Generally I am satisfied with Verizon but I wish I could get calls in my office in downtown Miami.

This picture phone is only digital and Verizon does not have adequate cell coverage in Pinecrest. They are always saying they will put in a tower but the new date is 2006. I hate this phone and service. No signal in my house and none in Macy's at Dadeland. Can you hear me now is a joke. I can't hear you at my house or at the school. Can you hear me, you have bad service. I do not recommend this service

Generally speaking, service with VZW has been good except inside of my apartment complex. That said, I will state that I have had good service with them (Verizon) in their various forms (i.e. PrimeCo) since 1996. Additionally, their national coverage cannot be beat in the areas to which I frequently travel (DC, Chicago, Detroit, Lansing, Ann Arbor, Grand Rapids, MI, Dallas and Houston). Customer service is also good. After having been with Cellular One/AT&T and Bellsouth Mobility/Cingular, I would not change from Verizon for anything in the world.
