I have a 3 yr old Nokia that gets excellent reception everywhere but my office on the first floor. It works fine upstairs but as soon as I get to the first floor it either goes dead or I get only one bar. Generally I am satisfied with Verizon but I wish I could get calls in my office in downtown Miami.
My Cingular phone reception has been terrible since the merger with AT&T. I bought this phone from AT&T and now I barely get reception anywhere. I just updated the firmware and it is working much better, but I am ready to switch. I heard Sprint has gotten much better in the area...
This picture phone is only digital and Verizon does not have adequate cell coverage in Pinecrest. They are always saying they will put in a tower but the new date is 2006. I hate this phone and service. No signal in my house and none in Macy's at Dadeland. Can you hear me now is a joke. I can't hear you at my house or at the school. Can you hear me, you have bad service. I do not recommend this service
Constantly lose signal when driving around Coral Gables near Miracle Mile and always lose signal when I walk into our building on Coral Way. T-Mobile claims to be adding another tower in Coral Gables which I hope is true, because reception can only get better... pretty bad at the moment (GSM)
I get dropped calls almost everytime I call out on my phone. Sometimes within 5 minutes of a call. Dont know if this is the merger, network traffic, or the new phone, but it's infuriating.
