I have never had any problems with reception. PERIOD. It's so good, I can make a phone call in the middle of my school in a closet without a problem. On a trip to Orlando, I've observed the bars on my phone go up and down several times, but I think that's just going from tower to tower. Verizon's the only service I know that can get this kind of comment. I think Verizon's the best.
I've tried 5 different types of phones and they all have poor ATT (Cingular) reception. After the calls are completed, they're quickly dropped. People who use Sprint and T-Mobile at this location do MUCH better.
Reception goes from 5 bar to zero. Pulsates up and down. Cant use the phone in the house without loosing signal within a minute or so, and I even have some difficulty outside near the house. The U.S cell system is very third world
I get plenty of bars. But I have so many zones that my phone doesn't work. I get an annoying beep trying to call from way too many areas. It is very disappointing. Cingular used to be excellent, I would get good signal almost everywhere. Now, I can't get through half the time. Sucks.
Fot the past 6 months the reception in my home is very poor. I had to come out of my home to make call. Never once received a call inside my home. As suggested by Customer service bought the best NOKIA phone; still the same problem. I want to switch to Cingular or Verizon; don't have any clue which one will work best.
Miami Shores has never had good coverage (by any carrier). I've tried multiple carriers with not much luck. My PDA signal here is 1 bar if we're lucky (signal in house is worse then outside), but PDA internet and texting are fairly good.
