I bought 2 T-Mobile phones for my wife and I. There is no reception in my house. When we want to make a call we have to go outside, but we have to walk around the yard to see if at least we can get 1 little bar. However, you are lucky if your call stays connect for more than 2 minutes. The service in the 33161 area is HORRIBLE. I would hate to get stuck somewhere in the 33161 zip code and use my T-Mobile phone to call for help. T-Mobile (Terrible-Mobile)
Gets good reception... .unless you go deep into the boonies... .I think all the trees and what not mess up you reception... but you still get enough to do everything you need... .in city is usually max reception... so yeah... to bad Verizon shafts you on your plan prices
Metro PCS sucks, 1 year service, lost many jobs due to in house no reception, the battery died in 20 hours due to continue searching for signal, I had it hanging near the window. The roaming is an assault at 0.80 minute. Finally I soaked it in the tube. Now I am reading your comments to see where am I going to bet my luck again. I think I will go with T-Mobile prepaid, just in case I have to soak it either. I really dont like the 24 months commitment, if it wouldnt work id get a heart attack... .in T-Mobile I will bet 10 bucks, if it work ill put a 100, thats 0.10 a minute, almost the same money, and you have a year to spend it. Wish me luck. Best regards, thank you for your comments.
I have problems with Cingular every since they merged with At and T. No reception at my job unless I am outside away from the building. At home. forget about it. I have to sit on the RIGHT side of my bed to get a signal or go all the way in my backyard. Cingular says it might be the phone. They suggest I UPGRADE my phone. (ie more money for them). My next cell phone is going to be two dixie cups and a string.
Signal is great in Miami, Doral, Orlando and Ocala however the worst service ever. Drop calls left and right. I am always on the phone. I had about 10 dropped calls a day in Orlando. In Miami and Doral I had about 3-5 dropped calls daily. Driving on the turnpike - dropped calls constantly. MetroPCS sucks, Sprint sucks, TMobile is good for the money however too congested. Prefer Cingular or Verizon.
I travel everywhere - Metro Zoo area is great. Doral area during rush hour - forget about it - garbage - network busy - I can't make calls nor received. In Orlando the reception is average - 2-3 bars. In Ocala - reception is low and in homes none at all.
