I have problems with Cingular every since they merged with At and T. No reception at my job unless I am outside away from the building. At home. forget about it. I have to sit on the RIGHT side of my bed to get a signal or go all the way in my backyard. Cingular says it might be the phone. They suggest I UPGRADE my phone. (ie more money for them). My next cell phone is going to be two dixie cups and a string.

My Cingular phone reception has been terrible since the merger with AT&T. I bought this phone from AT&T and now I barely get reception anywhere. I just updated the firmware and it is working much better, but I am ready to switch. I heard Sprint has gotten much better in the area...

I have to go outside to answer and receive calls, or they are dropped. It is always telling me it is searching and only 911 calls are OK.

The worst. Dropped calls constantly... if you can even connect. Can't even use at home. It's a company phone, so I have no choice.

I bought 2 T-Mobile phones for my wife and I. There is no reception in my house. When we want to make a call we have to go outside, but we have to walk around the yard to see if at least we can get 1 little bar. However, you are lucky if your call stays connect for more than 2 minutes. The service in the 33161 area is HORRIBLE. I would hate to get stuck somewhere in the 33161 zip code and use my T-Mobile phone to call for help. T-Mobile (Terrible-Mobile)

Works seamlessly. Never had a problem with the exception of ONE place: Travelling I-95 towards S. Beach approaching the Biscayne Exit - the phone always, and I repeat, always conks out when I hit that spot. Other than that - never have a problem elsewhere. Think I'll keep Verizon around while the "getting's good."

Reception is not as bad outdoors, but a nightmare indoors. Drop calls, no service choppy conversations.

I get dropped calls almost everytime I call out on my phone. Sometimes within 5 minutes of a call. Dont know if this is the merger, network traffic, or the new phone, but it's infuriating.
