Verizon 1 Out of 5 Phone Model: Motorola Droid X	In the beginning there was no reception what-so-ever. We invested in a wireless booster antenna which gave us a little reception. Before I make a phone call it shows I have 3 bars, once I make a phone call it drops to 1 bar and often drops the call. The Verizon dealer up the road said there was a tower within 2 miles from us. According to the map on this website the closest tower is 5 miles, the next closest is 8 miles. I have to say they overly exaggerated the distance. I've been with Verizon since 2002 and I would hate to have to switch just because I moved to an area with poor reception. Though, I am paying $3k per year for our plan. Most people would think that is pretty stupid to pay that much for little reception. Hhhhmmm... what to do?
