Frequent dropped calls, sometimes does not ring and goes directly to voice mail.

Reception is good at location, however, inside stores and certain areas of interstate, I get no service. Numerous dropped calls ALL the time with this company, as well as calls that go straight to voice mail! For as many big money people that live in this area, all these cell phone companies need to step up the service in Naples, FL! I have reviewed many coverage maps of all cell companies and all lack reception capabilities in this area. Best has been Alltel and Cingular, although, they do not have phones that are desirable or trendy. Stay away from Sprint / Nextel!

Terrible reception inside and outside. Dropped calls, calls go directly to voicemail, messages received days later.

Service is virtually non-existant despite being able to see the tower 1 / 4 mile away.

if you stand by a window or go outside you may be able to talk for a few minutes before your call drops. Overall the Nextel service has gotten worse over the last couple years.

Ever since Nextel merged with Sprint the service has been going downhill. It has definitely gotten worse this past year and the last couple of weeks it has become intolerable. I called to complain and they said they would send someone out to check the towers. I haven't heard back from them since. They told me that if they could verify that I dropped over 5% of my calls I would qualify for a refund. That's laughable as I probably drop 80% - 90% of my calls. MOST calls I have to call back, or get called back, an average of three times to complete a simple conversation. Everyone who knows me jokes (and sympathizes) with me over how poor my carrier is. We've begun referring to it as "NextHell." If you are looking for a new carrier in the Naples area (as I am now), do yourself a HUGE favor and stay completely away from Nextel.

Service goes back and forth between poor and none. My Nextel phone would be more useful as a paper weight!

Whats going on with nextel??? Ive been with Nextel for a year. It was the best service when I started a year ago, WTF is going ?? Calls beeing dropped and no service in areas that hard full service a year ago. Not very happy any more

Less than 1 mile from Nextel office the Motorola i730 has little to no reception. While in their office I had 2 bars reception. Pretty sad. Probably go with ATT. Phone less than 1 yr old, customer rep suggested buying new phone, Nextel service attitude very disappointing.

Nextel is supplied by my workplace. If I had to pay I would go to any other service. I lose almost every call on direct connect and wireless.
