Just moved to new house in this location. I have NO reception within the house. Have to 3alk into driveway to talk or receive. Wish my contract was up! Joyce Dowdy

ATT has been a strong carrier for us in the University / The Corner area. Rarely do I drop calls, and when in my car it is absolutely no problem. Sometimes when I head out into the surrounding areas, it drops calls... .as do any other carriers that my family has. So ATT in my mind is a good way go to!

Had AT&T before the merge and have not had any dropped calls. Have had the service for four years. Worked during Hurricane Charley (inside a shelter) and Hurricane Wilma. Have traveled to other states and the coverage is also good.

Have used AT&T TDMA, Cingular TDMA and Cingular GAIT (GSM / TDMA / AMPS). No dropped calls that I remember. Even inside. No problems.

Originally I had a Nextel phone for one year at this location and now for the past two years Sprint. There was no improvement with the change. I can be on the phone for an hour without a problem and then all of a sudden the sound from the other person starts breaking up. If I react quickly enough I can go to the other side of my home and the reception is usually better again. For a while at least. Then it can get bad there and I have to scurry back to the original room. Often changing my location in my home doesn't help or the signal drops quickly. I have had many dropped calls at home. At two offices in Fort Myers on Colonial Blvd.a block west of McGregor Blvd.(six years) and on McGregor about a block north of Iona Rd (three months) I have had no problems with reception at all.

Verizon works great for me, everywhere but at home. Used to be able to go outside to make calls, but even that became iffy. Phone bounces between 4 bars and 0... extremely frustrating. That said, I recently purchased a Samsung Verizon Network extender which uses the internet to put a "cell tower" in my living room. I love it! Can be purchased on ebay for about $75, and no monthly cost.

Reception very poor at house. Verizon said they have marginal coverage for my area so I can break my contract after over 3 months of complaining.

Never had an issue with Verizon. ATT, TMobile, and Sprint all suck here. But Verizon seems fine.

No dropped calls in cement block house. All rooms. I use broadband with Verizon wireless card for my computer. Never a dropped call or interuptted computer access.
