It is amazing that with todays technology, T-Mobile can't seem to provide service in many areas. AT&T and Verizon appear to dominate T-Mobile in coverage. When my plan is up, I will try another carrier, I am tired of not being able to use something that I pay for "SERVICE".
Inside house zero reception, can stand outside in the yard and get poor reception. Not much fun in the rain! At work on SR 40 1 mile west of I-75 get decent reception, then for no reason go into roaming. Extremely poor reception overall.
I have an older Motorola which works fine but my wife's LG drops all calls at home for past 5-6 wks---2 trouble tickets and 2 refurbished LGs later plus a switch to Motorola phone have not solved the problem. Told we need to upgrade to a new model cellphone when seems to be a reception issue? Alltel technical cannot figure out the problem with reception even though cell tower only 2 miles away on Hwy. 40. Will likely switch to another provider and take my entire family with me and screw their contracts.
On my phone I normally have 4 to 1 bar in my house the coverage I am getting is AT&T s 3G network which FINALLY came to slocala. But my dad has the Motorola razor V3xx and always have 5 bars lol. Normally on my cell when I come closer into town around my school and the mall I have better coverage and I normally get 5 - 4 bars
no bars inside. Sometimes can get one bar outside. Frequent dropped calls. Customer support says we should change SYM Card. Sounds like a sales pitch rather than a solution. They also suggested switching to a Nokia phone.
Sprint is quite good in and around town, but for some reason it has much poorer building penetration than Verizon, which I just left because I couldn't resist the new Sprint phone. Verizon is supposed to have about the same frequencies and technology as Sprint, but almost everyone I talk to is convinced that Verizon is better than Sprint about getting inside buildings. Outside, they seem about equal.
