Phone can be 2miles from tower and drops calls static high pitched squeals on reciever eithe cant hear the other party or cant be heard by them phone is always blamed 3 phone on service and they all have the same problems after trip to Sprint repair and hundreds of dollars later one phone up graded three time and problems still remain, towers seem to fail regularary and take weeks to repair. service in Florida is worst ever experienced

check on t-mobiles website you can locate exactly where their towers are not like Cingular or others where they lie and are not specific.

t-mobile has the best service in this area and they are adding more towers all the time. I travel all through the state of Florida and I get reception in all populated areas. Much better than cingular. I dont like paying more for less minutes and T-Mobile has great customer service if you do have a problem. I call them and bypass the computer voice activated thing by pressing 000000 and I get a real person in seconds every time. I am completly satisfied. I have been with them for 1 1 / 2 years.

Hate Verizon! Almost never more than 1 bar. Had 12 dropped calls yesterday and that's the norm. My phone doesn't even ring. Love my phone - hate reception in Palm Bay.

Extremely bad service... However I have been told that Palm Bay politics are what is holding a much needed tower. Leave it to politicians to screw up anything they touch.

Cell Phone will not even get a 3 g signal. Says I am on a E network which I was told is the older network, 2 G I guess. My wireless modem, forgetaboutit. In NYC is was downloading at 380kb / s Here is am getting an average of 4kb / s... .Sucks. On USB connect card I am lucky to have 1 bar.. Awful, I wish I could switch.

Live in NW Palm Bay,For almost 15 years had poor service with Verizon.AT&T promised me 3 bars so I switched to have only the same service.dropped calls,1 bar,no bars etc. Called AT&T for the second time in 2 weeks (only been with them for a month) They told me for $200 I could buy a device that would boost my signal. When I asked about canceling because the service they verbally promised me was false they basically said tuff _ _ _ t!I would have to pay the early tremination charge anyway... At least Verizon was good enough to waive that fee. Think twice before choosing AT&T... .If you live in NW Palm Bay. When my contract is up... so are they!

Pam Bay - lousiest reception (or rather lack of) that I've ever had! I get 1 bar at home and constant dropped calls. AT and T says I'm in a moderate coverage area. So what is bad, no bars? Would pay the penalty and switch in a heartbeat if I knew who had good coverage in this area. I use my phone for work so it's very important I have good reception. Something I definitely do NOT have now. Love my iPhone, hate the reception!

Switched from Sprint who actually had pretty decent coverage, just needed data and voice simultaneously. T-Mobile network is very fast and happy with customer service so far. Voice quality is as good or better than Sprint.

have had AT&T for 7 years even wen it was cingular. it has always been bad till you get on palm bay rd then it it goes to 5 bars. till yesterday I had an LG and it was not the best. but now with the pantech its better. also it switches between 3g and edge. don't seem to have a tower close by

Very poor reception, signal disappears and reappears, not reliable, thinking of switching to T-Mobile because my brother has good signal with them in this area.

never have dropped a call, never. since AT&T merger service has incresed by 900% not for old AT&T phones though if you have an OLD ATT it will not work the same as a phone with the Cingular logo on it trust me never not had service all over florida i recomend 100% to go with cingular

I downloaded a ring tone 2 times, because on the first try, it didn't work. On the second time it didnt work either. Finally on the third try it worked, but charged me for all three times, and the ringtone is really stupid. Please help me get my money back!

AT&T blames a lake on Grant Rd. for all bad receptions, with all carriers. I have AT&T for almost 2 years now and what a mess! We had Verizon before switching to AT&T and we never had this problem. I have called and called AT&T and never got anywhere. I did however call last month and was told that "the reason all the cell phones are having bad reception in SE Palm Bay is because of a lake on Grant Rd. It is a problem when you live close to a body of water." WHAT?? Now come on, what about the people that live on Beach Side? I lived on beach side with AT&T a few years ago and never had this problem. There is something else causing these problems in Palm Bay and don't see how it is lake on Grant Rd. I had AT&T landline, which I swtiched to Brighthouse, because it got to where I could not make calls on that phone. I could hear other peoples conversations and AT&T would not do anything about it. I was told that it was the wiring inside my house. Whatever, enough is enough with this company! I am going to try Metro PCS, as our friend has them and uses his phone at our house with no problems and it is one rate for unlimited.

unable to make or recieve calls from my house in S.E. Palm bay. Have to step outside and stand in the street to try and get reception. Sometimes this too doesn't work.

Reception is horrible in SE Palm Bay. I jump when my phone rings because calls almost never get through. After it rings, there is NO reception.
