Summer had a few some dropped calls while servicing their towers, ATT issued credit- (previously had sprint / nextel for years-limited reception)... switched to ATT and good service for the last 3 years (except in Sept)Indoors and outside... contracts have expired... .I will stay with them. Good reception out in the water and in the flats,too. Kids have ATT in Daytona- no problem there either.

Im here on squash blossom trl. I get full signal on Verizon here. The tower is located on us 1 almost to 304 on the west side of us 1 just across from karat ave. Had Sprint and had to go outside to talk. Im very happy with my Verizon service everywhere I go, and i'm a truck driver so I travel frequently.

Just switched from Nextel to Verizon. I used to get 0-1or2 bars in house. I got used to going outside to make calls. Now I can sit anywhere in house and talk. I get 3-4 bars on 1x and 3g. Totally happy, its worth the xtra $. You get what you pay for.

For the ones complaining about Verizon need to update their phones or something, because mine works all over. Had them 2 years and only maybe 5 dropped calls total. Maybe I just have good luck. Im a truck driver I travel about 35 states.

Verizon, AT&T, Metro PCS have a tower here. Just put it up and all 3 carriers have full signal here. The tower is on the west side of US 1 across from Seminole Wds and US 1. Sprint, T. Mobile, Nextel, need to put antenna up on that tower. I see T. Mobile maybe but Sprint / Nextel I wouldnt hold my breath. Hope this helps fellow Palm Coast neighbor.

I have had AT&T forever and I even have an older type Samsung phone and for the most part I have no big problems calling all over the U.S. Sometimes I get a dropped call in the car but otherwise good reception. I am glad you guys clued me in to the problems because I almost switched to an Android from T Mobile. Thanks for the info. I almost made a big $ mistake.

I am traveling to Paris, France and to South Africa. I was wondering will I have phone service there? If so, how do I dial out and what will be the charge? Can someone dial my number in the states and get me? Please reply. Thank you, Stephen

Average days 3 to 4 bars, bad days 1 to 2 bars. Have same local problems as other carrier users.

Outside I get good reception, but indoors I have trouble, I sometimes have to walk outside

Cell reception indoors ranges 1-3, outside seems fine(3-5) over the palm coast pkwy bridge by Cingular cell receptions is great(4-5) cause of tower nearby(of course the Cingular store is right there you walk out of Cingular thinkin great reception! get home its a different story stand near windows or outdoors

Perfect reception outside, but about 1-3 bars indoors or on first floor of a two story building. Even inside my home I have 3-4 bars.

Poor reception indoors on 5 different phones with Cingular / AT&T. I can pay up to $200 and buy a booster from them to try and better my service. We have to walk around outside to talk on the phone... .

I receive calls just fine but the are dropped almost immediately upon me answering them. I have to go outside to answer my phone. Inside, my phone is useless.

The problem is Palm Coast not allowing carriers to add tower in this area for better coverage, 3G etc...

Just got this phone and am soooo upset because I love the phone but barely get a reception on the 3G network and 1 bar average on the call network... wish they would fix this for Palm Coast,,, it's not fair citizens here pay so much to have a cell and can;t even use it half the time :(

Poor reception here. Lucky if we see one bar on our phones. To the guy who says there is a Verizon tower by US 1 and Seminole Woods Blvd, I rather doubt it. I'm pretty close to this area, but you wouldn't know it from my signal.

Sprint will not work in the S-section of Palm Coast so you would think someone would do something to help the customer out...

Coverage on this side of I 95 (East) and in this general area is intermittent at best. Sometimes you can make a call, sometimes not. Usually, calls in doors go right to voice mail. Verizon Wireless knows about the problem and has numerous trouble tickets about it. It seems like the only solution is to make multiple phone calls to produce mutiple trouble tickets and keep at it until the problem is solved. Either another tower, or adding another antenna to the tower they have.

When at home in Cypress Knoll, on Echo Sands Place, over half my calls are dropped in mid-conversation.
