Good reception in this immediate (1 / 4-1 / 2 mile) area. Indoors it will drop to two bars occasionally.

Reception has improved over the years. Still can not be under our oak trees and get any reception, which includes inside my house if I am near the trees. Other than the that the reception is satisfactory. Beware though, their customer service leaves a LOT to be desired! Not so much their attitude but they keep making mistakes on billing, so it takes a LOT of patience to deal with Sprint customer service. They will blame anything and anyone but themselves for errors and then promise the mistake will never happen again... and it usually does. Plus it seem anytime I talk to them about a problem with their billing there is another year added to your contract which you know nothing about until you want to change service and then they let you know you can't for another year! Cingular is overall very good in Plant City and surrounding areas. Since the towers in southern Plant City has been on I've got better coverage. Works well in buildings as well.

called vzw and they said the tower was only 3 mi away. couldnt find it on the map but they said 3 mi is nothin and I should have alot better service than what I have. o well on my phone I have ev and 1x with one to zero bars and thats enough to make phone calls and send messages and such.

Nextel is by far the worst carrier I have ever had, and the customer service is arrogant, rude, and as worthless as the phone reception. 2 way is too frustrating to use, garbled at best. Phone doesn't ring, but goes to voice mail, so much for free incoming. I travel often to Detroit, and I work here from southern Pasco to northern Manatee county, with home in Plant City. After the hurricanes was told tower damage, would be better. HAH! Not yet, in fact since Spint has taken over it's soooo much worse. I'm here looking at reviews to change NOW. I've had enough.

Since the hurricanes my reception has gotten very poor. I cannot have conversations on i-4 from Tampa to Orlando. If this were not a company phone I would drop Nextel in a heart beat.

Living at south end of Walden Lake in Plant City... zero reception using T-Mobile and Samsung R225m. 0-to-1 bar reception at Alexander and Jim Redmond. Better reception (2-to-3 bars) in Brandon and Tampa. Zero reception in Temple Terrace. When traveling, found spotty reception in northern and central New Jersey; Zero reception in Maine. Wondering if Verizon will be any better.

I get little or no reception in Walden Lakes community. I get zero reception inside my house. Can't wait to get rid of AT&T!
