Have to go downstairs or outside to talk, as a rule. In upstairs study, I presently show one bar.

I have multiple phones. After about ten minutes with 4 or 5 bars the call is dropped. Then it gets dropped every two to three minutes thereafter. I have made numerous calls to no avail.

Cingular provides good service wherever I go, except inside my own home. That is until last month. Now I don't have to go outside to make a call, I have 5 bars in all corners of the house. Thanks Cingular.

I am at my witts end with Cingular I have three smart phones in the last 8 months, 2 Palm treo 650's and a Hp 6515 with camera. All have the worst reception anywhere I go in So. Fla. Some times it takes two to three times of dialing before I get a call connected! When I finally get connected the calls only last for 2 to 5 minutes before I get disconnected! When I am connected the call reception is horrible! The party at the other end can't hear me. I get long periods of dead air space when in a call. Then after 5 minutes the call gets dropped in most cases! My friends and family will not talk to me when I call them from cell phone. Why do I pay for this lousey Cingular product. Thinking of switching to Verizone

Poor reception in the area of Florida and Sligh when outside- with frequent dropped calls. No reception at all when inside any structure or house. Also poor reception in area of Florida and Osborne. Occasional dropped calls. As a side note - No reception in Wesley Chapel either - maybe one bar when outside. All very regrettable since we have been with Sprint for 6 years now, and have been happy with the reception everywhere except in Seminole Heights!

My connections were fine until about 4 months ago when the bars went down to 1-2 and many calls are dropped.

Nextex sucks AZZ, your better of with 2 cans and a string. We have 15 radios and they drop calls just about everywhere in Florida. I get messages come in weeks late from customers. How reliable is that! They gave us new radios for free and told us that it will improve communication if we signed a new contract. guess what? it got worse. I'm breaking the freaking contract at any cost.

I bought the Verizon Razr in February. I have dropped exactly 1 call. The reception is great everywhere. The service is better than ever. I used to have the LG vx4500 the sevice was good but since I changed phones the service is even better. Verizon rules

No reception in buildings in Coconut Creek, Florida area. Sprint has the worst service in South Florida.

Using a new EVDO phone from Sprint I can get reception in my home but with their non EVDO phones I would rarely get a signal.

I travel all over South Florida and have great reception in almost any weather condition, any location, any situation. I travel across alligator alley, WPB to south Miami, South Beach, convention centers, upstate NY, Utah mountains, NJ shore- it works everywhere. Only possible problem I've ever had is in new homes with metal roof where bars go down to 2 or 3. Been a few years since I used Cingular, but they had lots of pockets with no reception, especially near MIA airport.

Never had a problem indoor or outdoor..Also worked better then the other cell phone carriers after the hurricane. Most police departments dropped Nextel because of it.

Horrid. I have to stand outside in the middle of the street to get reliable service.

Sprint is terrible in Coconut Creek Area by the township.

Getting bad for the last 6 months. Dropp calls are more and more common. Thinking to go to VZW. 3 lines, 3 different phones, all same problems.

I had Nextel for 4 years in Illinois, good service-moved to south Florida and was unable to use my phone at beachfront condo. I did not realize when I changed plan to lower minute plan due to poor coverage, dropped calls, etc, that I was signing up for two more years. Couldn,t take the dropped calls and lack of signal and changed carriers. I was forced to pay $400.00 for early cancelation. Rude customer service and lack of consideration for customers needs. I would use roadside payphones again before signing up with Nextel again. They totally suck.

Strong cell phone coverage for T-Mobile have all 6 bars.

Full signal indoor and out doors in this intersection. I think it is related to a disguised pine tree that sits in the park next to players club. Must be a Cingular cell phone tower, Nextel must co locate on that tower as well. Both carriers have great service in this area.

Unacceptable reception inside buildings and houses near the sawgrass expressway and riverside drive. Don't expect to have a conversation in your house with Nextel in this area. You will be lucky if you have service at all.
