I live in Coconut Creek off of Lyons and Hillsboro and work in the Heron Bay area off of Coral Ridge and Holmberg. I have been with Verizon since 2006 and never had an issue with reception in these areas. The only time I have had an issue with reception is when I am in certain stores like Wal-Mart off of Hillsboro and 441 and the Sawgrass Mills Mall in Tamarac. I think there is bad reception there because there is alot of metal in the roof. Other than that, I have had perfect reception even out in the mountains and woods in the middle of nowhere!

I can't send text messages when I'm in Florida! I can send MMS, can browse the web on the phone, can receive SMS but can't send. Phone tech had me reset phone, remove SIM card, tried all sorts of things. Store tech did the same, then blamed the phone and said I needed a new one. However, I was going to California the next day and when I landed in O'Hare Airport in Chicago -- with this phone -- all the waiting text messages went through. I had no problem sending from there or from San Francisco. I'm back in Florida and again can't send text messages. A few months ago in Florida, same location, text messages worked fine. Now they don't.

Cingular provides good service wherever I go, except inside my own home. That is until last month. Now I don't have to go outside to make a call, I have 5 bars in all corners of the house. Thanks Cingular.

I bought the Verizon Razr in February. I have dropped exactly 1 call. The reception is great everywhere. The service is better than ever. I used to have the LG vx4500 the sevice was good but since I changed phones the service is even better. Verizon rules

Never had a problem indoor or outdoor..Also worked better then the other cell phone carriers after the hurricane. Most police departments dropped Nextel because of it.

Strong cell phone coverage for T-Mobile have all 6 bars.

Full signal indoor and out doors in this intersection. I think it is related to a disguised pine tree that sits in the park next to players club. Must be a Cingular cell phone tower, Nextel must co locate on that tower as well. Both carriers have great service in this area.

Best reception I have ever had! Great in buildings like Wal-Mart, Sams Club, ect. Full bars in my home, where I might add, I would get one bar with T-Mobile. Sprint PCS's service in my area is very good. I have not been to any part of South Florida where my service was poor. Moto phones seem to work best.

Never a droped call, alway clear from car or home

When I lived in Florida my reception at home was excellent. Most places that I traveled to in the Broward county area had few if any dead spots. The only place I had reception problems was inside the Riverside Hotel on Las Olas Blvd.in Ft Lauderdale. Once I went outside the reception was good again.

I travel all over South Florida and have great reception in almost any weather condition, any location, any situation. I travel across alligator alley, WPB to south Miami, South Beach, convention centers, upstate NY, Utah mountains, NJ shore- it works everywhere. Only possible problem I've ever had is in new homes with metal roof where bars go down to 2 or 3. Been a few years since I used Cingular, but they had lots of pockets with no reception, especially near MIA airport.

The phone is also cheap so buy it if your looking for a pretty,cheap and realiable phone.

sometimes the calls drop and with metro u can not travel anywhere in florida but its good because we have anything unlimited for only one flat rate per month.

Great reception in Coral Springs. I work in Lauderdale lakes and do have reception problems inside my office building which houses an ultrasound school whihc may account for some problems. Reception in my house is perfect. Overall I am satisfied but there are problems inside some buildings. I get reception inside publix which I couldn't get with Nextel. I would recommend Verizion.

Occationally drops long calls, after about 20 minutes.
