I constantly drop service coverage while sitting in one location. I will go from average of 3 bars to "no service coverage" all day long 24 / 7. I have called support and have been "updated" to get better sevice. I have been "in store" and had sim card replaced for better service. I have just received a "refurbished" phone for better service. All efforts have not corrected the issue... .Poor Tower Reception... .or lack thereof. Buy the way, I bought my cell new and am pissed that I received a replacement that had numbers and pics on it from previous owner. If AT&T is going to refurbish at least try to fake it by deleting previous data. And by the way, how does the previous commenter use a cell when there are "no bars"?

Reception at the park is non existant. Reception is available only once you leave the peninsula. I've been told it has something to do with the Air Force radar system on the cape.

10-25-05 I got no signal in Port St. Joe one year ago. Now when I visit psj service is great in the city limits, west to Panama City and out on Cape San Blas. Anywhere east toward Apalachicola or north toward Wewahitchka gets you one bar max on a good day.

When we had AT&T Wireles, we had no signal at all. We changed to Cingular and we had a signal. At last we could use our cell phones for work(oddly enough, we are both AT&T employees). That was October, 2004. Now in July, 2005, we have to drive to Panama City to see who left us voice mail. No bars at all! Nada. Nothing. Did the nearest tower walk away? Did the last tech up the tower lose their balance, grab a brace, and tilt the antenna? Seriously, we're upset. The calls to Cingular have produced nothing. We've talked to the customer reps and the network guys and no one know a thing. I guess taking THEIR cell phone and driving to here is too complicated a concept. It was suggested several times that I get a separate cell phone service for when I am in the Florida panhandle. Yup, that makes sense. Do I get the Batman Utility Belt in this deal? I thought a cell phone was a MOBILE PHONE.
