We constantly get dropped calls. When I am talking to someone they say I am breaking up. I can start out with 3or 4 bars and they will drop to nothing.

I may get 5 bars of signal but as soon as I try and use something that takes data I might as well give up. I'm lucky if I get 0.16Mbps down and 0.10Mbps up. Checking email is a nightmare and there's no chance of googling for directions or to find a good restaurant or bar. I'm extremely dissapointed in AT&T considering they did a good job at improving signal but did nothing to improve bandwidth.

Reception is spotty, and in certain areas of the house calls are dropped regularly. Both phones have terrible audio, hard to hear the caller, lot's of interference.

AT&T just launched 4G LTE in Sarasota, and I must say its wicked fast. Im getting 25 / 10 speeds based on speedtest app. Thats crazy fast. All the services just improved drastically. Very rarely ever drop calls and just overall great customer service. I wouldn't switch to any other carrier. My friends have Verizon and there speeds according to the same app are much slower. Amazing they advertise faster speeds.

Very poor reception outside, often no reception at all inside apartment. Three different models of phone: Samsung, iPhone 3, iPhone 4, all show one or zero bar. Whole Gulf Gate shopping area is like that - very poor reception on ATT, lots of dropped calls.

My iPhone 4 barely works at my house whether inside or out, upstairs or downstairs. the phone shows anywhere from 1 - 3 bars but trust me,.5 would be more accurate.

A few years back a new tower gave north Siesta Key great coverage. Now, as 3G is being added, we jump back an forth from #g to Edge with 3G signal strength running from 0-1. Thank you progress!

ATT is just pathetic.. they have the best phone in the market, but do not care about their own customers... Reception is pathetic in my area... no answers from them regarding coverage

ATT has poor reception. Dropped calls often. No answer from them regarding new towers

AT& T is the worst. All their commercials show funny skits about loosing calls and more bars.Why don't they just put their money into keeping the customers satified instead of this BS

Something has changed in the past 3-4 months, reception used to be OK I have 3 phones on AT&T's service and they are all 0-1 bars, they keep telling me that the problem must be with the phones but when I go to the local office they say the phones are fine. Now I am desperately trying to either get help or get out of my contract with no success and poor customer service. How is it that contracts are so difficult to get out of even if they do not provide good service. I am not giving up, my complaint has been escalated. All they keep telling me is that the engineers have checked the towers and everything is OK... .What a joke

Frequent "No network coverage" at my home; often phone receives voicemail without ringing. Calls get dropped, though less often recently.

I love AT&T! the service is great and the people at the Fruitville store are amazing! If your current cell phone sucks! Switch to AT&T! I did and I am soooooo happy! They are right up there next to Winn dixie on fruitville. Tell em I sentcha!

Horrible service, I have to go outside to make and receive calls and then the calls may break up. I've called Cingular who say they have good reception!

Moved to Florida last year from Chicago. Service was great up north but its terrible down here. Have to go outside to use phone and it still breaks up. Sometimes I don't get voice messages from hours since they have been sent to as long as a few days after being sent! This never occured up north. I don't know what the deal is down here but I'm switching services next week when my contract expires.

for the past 6 months I have had multi problems with my servce, I have called cus. ser. at least 10 times I have no servce in my home have to sit in driveway to talk with 1 bar, people say when they call me that 20 to 30% of the time it just says this number is not in servce, no voice mail. and when I have 4 or 5 bars and make a call it drops to 1 or nothing without me moving, as soon as I get cut off it goes back up. I am paying full price for a service that works only 50% of the time, they should be carging me 50% of the bill. Cingular SUCKS in Sarasota Florida!

I have had a continuous problem with Cingular. When I hit the Fruitville Rd / Verna area, my phone interregates an Alltel tower and I lose ALL Cingular voice mail features. Instead if you call my cell you get a... "the Alltel customer is not available.." message. I'm not with Alltel! GOODBYE CINGULAR!

Reception is average here; but I have a big problem with Cingular's billing. Every bill I have to go on the phone and talk for 45 minutes to get some charge or another removed. Why can't they get billing straightened out? Two months ago I got a notice for "10 free ringtones" from something called Dadamobile that works through Cingular. I downloaded the ringtone but found out the company had it backward: you get one ringtone and it costs $10 -- per month. Took me over an hour to get this one straighted out. Now in the process of moving to either Verizon or AllTel

Originally an AT&T customer, I was discouraged at the lack of reception I was getting on Cingular. I kept going back to the store. They gave my phone a "push". It only helped a bit. No bars, weak signal, breaking up, underwater. Finally fed up, I went to Sprint. What a mistake that was.

I have tried several phones on siesta key, now with Cingular was AT&T during their transition, service is worse with cingular, during transition it was great my phone would automatically switch to another cell, t mobile, Cingular or AT&T whatever was stronger, it stopped when I made the final move. now cant get much.

Poor reception. Calls don't go through or dropped. I can hear the person I'm calling, but they don't hear me. Cingular says this is because they have been upgrading towers to GSM, but when I bought the phone a year ago I was told it supported GSM.

Intermittent reception in my house. Goes to extended service 99% of the time in my house as well as the "home area." Reception is broken and difficult to hear. Some calls dropped completely.
