I moved from another city in Florida and never had a problem In fact service was so good there I dropped my landline. Now Im in Sarasota and wow, its awful. I cant use the phone in my house. I cant get through one call without losing the call. I am going to need to pick up a landline again :( ahhh just when I thought I was free of the whole "home" phone thing Im back again. The sad thing is I bought the EVO and am getting charged the xtra 10 a month for 4 g. I would just be glad to get service in my apartment period! That would be worth the extra 10 bucks alone! If you live out here off University in Palm aire area dont get Sprint.

Reception was OK for a few weeks then it quit altogether. Zilch Nada. Even with five bars I can't call or text. Wife's ancient Sanyo Sprint phone works just fine. Sprint gave me a new LG Rumor 2 and it fails also.

Reception goes in and out. I make important calls from my land line on a 10-10 number or use Skype. I use Working Assets Wireless, but they use the Sprint network.

One mile east of I-75 on Bee Ridge and NO reception with Sprint any longer. I understand since the merger they are changing Sprint towers over to NexTel towers to help with that system. Sprint / NexTel doesn't seem to care about their Sprint users or how they are affected. Used to be the best, now the worst. I have dropped more calls or had no signal in the last 2 months then I have since the 3 years I have been with Sprint. I have three phones with Sprint and all of them are effected, so it is not a phone problem.

Already upset (at&t to cingular) went to Sprint. They told me "no problem, there is a tower near you". They lied. No bars, phone wouldn't even ring, couldn't call voice mail. My clients couldn't reach me. Called the manager, he said he didn't know where my neighborhood was... I told him, he should know all the neighborhoods and towers in his service area. Realized my husband had good service through Nextel. Cancelled the Sprint Account. Seems like I spent a week dealing with phone issues. Wanted to throw them all in the pool.

have never dropped a call with either phone anywhere from sarasota to north tampa. I have had sprint for three years and couldn't be happier. pcs service is perfect unless you have a garbage quality phone.

Never a single dropped call and full signal strength.
