Cingular (former AT&T) service is spotty. Sometimes it's great and all the calls sound crystal clear. Other times, I get multiple dropped calls, "Call Failed" messages, and basically unusable service in the same locations. This is the case on both my phone and my spouse's phone. I don't know if this is because I was an AT&T customer either, but I don't plan to sign another 2 year contract with Cingular just to find out. Cingular's customer service has also been very bad, and they've screwed up my bill, only to tell me it was my fault and then later correct the errors without apology. Their solution to every problem I have is "you should sign a new 2 year contract with Cingular." Bah!
