Had to buy an Air Rave to get receiption (turns cell phone into VOIP). Have had Sprint here for over 7 years - 70 or more percent of calls dropped.

I would like to flash a metro pc 4g phone to Verizon or virgin mobile please

Only had phone for 10mths and reception sinks and 3g is slow

Terrible service, I'm really disappointed in sprint. Calls seem to drop 1 out of 3 times. 3G service is abysmal... you can expect to load a simple webpage in 45 seconds! It's unreliable and really frustrating. Can't even use the facebook app with terrible 3G. Cmon Sprint, your service should be better, especially at a major college campus!

i've lived at this residence when I purchased T-Mobile 6 years ago and I have had no problem making and getting calls inside my home. All of a sudden on this past Sunday, I've been unable to get any service inside or outside my home. I have to go 2 miles from my home to get reception. I don't know what happened or how all of a sudden I'm unable to get service at my home. I went to T-Mobile and the young man was more interested in selling me a new contract than trying to solve my problem. Today is my last day with tmobile.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! My phone will have 5 bars but I get no or horrible internet and when I'm on the phone the other person gets every other word cut off by static. Its terrible and it only happens on this one street. Friend has a Comet and lives here and has the exact same complaint.

3G coverage in Tallahassee has usually been pretty great. There's only one area in town I've been that sometimes drops calls, but even that has improved vastly. Both download and upload speeds were often in the 2-3Mbps until just recently; the last month or so the speed has plummeted, due to, as AT&T informed me, cell towers are coming down for upgrades around the city. It should improve greatly in the near future.

very poor reception with call dropped in a split second. Must switch at end of contract. I need a phone to use not look at.

I have used Nextel phones since 2001, but also, kept an Alltel phone, because the Nextel phone only work when in town, reception was poor out of city limits. No service most of time. Nextel reception improved in 2005 or 2006, but has now been poor again around 2009. During hurricanes of 2004 and 2005, my Nextel phones wouldn't work at all. The Alltel phones worked. The Motorola I580 has been the best Nextel Rugged phone for reception, of the many Nextel Rugged phones that I've used.

I completely understand that reception is dependent on where the carrier's tower is. In our part of town there are very few towers. Perhaps the carriers should begin considering the rural areas for expansion. I doubt any carrier could provide good service out here.
