No more Alltel, no more talking in my house. Ever since Verizon took over I have to go outside to make or receive calls. Before Verizon, I could talk anywhere in my house, even the basement. I've also uploaded the new roaming list with no effect. wtf?
About 6 1 / 2 miles to nearest tower at Meridian Rd. and Bannerman. No coverage with any provider here since Altel gone. Verizon promises improvements, but has been singing the same song for nearly a year. Texting works well, but to call, must go into back yard, face southeast, stand on one foot, stick tongue out, and hope a bird doesn't fly by! Lived her for 6 months and never have had a bar on my phone. I have to move around to get the best reception and ask the person on the other end "Can you hear me now"?
OUTSTANDING reception not only at the location specified, but everywhere on the west side of town. Excellent reception on FSU and FAMU campuses too. I don't go to the east side much, but I have great reception when I go there too.
I live at the intersection of W.W. kelly rd and Williams and my Sprint service is useless. I just turn my cell phone off and charge it when I get home. I've been promised for five years a tower would be put up, but still hasn't. Sprint, how about this promise to you... I "will" have a new phone service by Feb. of 2009. I'm dropping your A#%.
