Poor coverage in the house, have to go outside and stand in my driveway to use my phone, more likely it's the model of my phone as others in the house with different models of phone have better reception.

Good signal even inside. 4G all day long!

In this Area Verizon is always 4 or 5 bars and I never have connection issues of any kind! I tried to switch to T-Mobile to save money but man, I do not know what I was thinking... Verizon is so far above everyone else, I don't even know why people use the other services.

I live over by the Robinson school, if I'm lucky I get a bar blinking on and off if I get the phone in the right position in the room. I haven't talked on my phone in over a week, and before that longer because I have such poor reception. Texting is just another pain, having to find a hot spot in my room just for it to go through. Corporates piss me off. They claim on there commercials about how great they are and pay no mind to the customers that spend out money on their junk, and it won't even work, if by chance were lucky they might build another tower closer in a few years. I work at USF Health and get 1 bar at my desk, if I'm lucky. This is often enough to avoid dropping the call, but not enough for a clear conversation. I live a couple miles east of the school on Fletcher and get 0-1 bars in my apartment. I would estimate that I drop about 60-75% of the calls I try to take at home. I usually get 3-4 bars on the drive between home and work, though, so maybe I just got really unlucky with where I work / live. Looking at the map of towers, it doesn't seem like other providers are doing much better in this area, which is surprising, given the 45,000+ students who spend a lot of their time on the USF campus.

On good days I get 1 bar, mostly no bars. Sometimes difficult to carry on a conversation inside the house that lasts more than a couple of minutes. Also have had dropped calls and occasionally text messages saying I missed a call even though I had the phone next to me. CS and tech support have tried to be helpful but in the 60 days I've had the new phone, we've gotten nowhere. The interesting thing is, I was an Alltel customer for the last 15 years with absolutely no problems and they were merged into Verizon in early July. They tell me they've taken taken over Alltel's towers and that I should be connecting to the same tower (here at home where I am 95% of the time)but the service is now very bad. I'm very sorry that I canceled my land line at the same time I signed a new 2 year contract.

Constant dropped calls no bars to two around the whole area. Same with T-Mobile though. Opened several problems with Verizon many calls back but no one actually did anything to help. VZ sales told me every phone was super antennas. The phone blogs say different. Why the constant flux in signal strength ??? VZ says they saw NO DROPPED calls from my phone while there were many that very day. Possibly the towers are OVER BUSY and drop calls\???

I live in Tampa Palms. I don't get any receiption with Verizon when I'm inside. If I walk out the front door a pick up a Verizon tower, but if I walk out the back I get Alltel and have to dial 813 to call Tampa. I also noticed that it won't work inside most Muvico theatres and picks up Alltel when I leave the theater, but I can fix it by turning the phone off and on.

My coverage is good here in Temple Terrace. Inside my house I get 2 bars and outside I get 4 bars. 2 bars is enough to carry on a clear conversation anywhere in my home. Verizon Wireless is by far the best carrier overall. Check out JDPower / Consumer Reports. Nobody can touch them.

No Reception in my apartment, but 2 bars out of 4 once I go outside. Average reception.

I get great reception on my phone with verizon, I think sometimes though my house blocks some of the signal.

Never had a problem with Verizon's reception in this area or any adjoining area for a 200 mile radius. Wish they had more competitive plans. Keeping them in spite of better deals from other providers.

Never had any problems with it. I had the V710 before this, but it was great, too. I also have their EVDO wireless card for my laptop, and it works like a dream.

Almost Have 5 bars everywhere I go. Will never go back to Cingular. Coverage sucks.

My area of Temple Terrace seems to be cell tower free. There are only two towers in the area, both to the east. I get lots of dropped calls especially if I am in certain rooms in my home. Going outside helps a lot. I live in a condo, not a bomb shelter! GSM (Cingular) seems to do better in this area over CDMA (Sprint / Verizon).

It's our running joke "Can you hear me now?". Maybe it's our phones, but we have to go outside to use them. And even then it's 50 / 50. Driving around reception often fades in and out. We had Alltel and had to change (company policy) - we'll go back first chance we get.

No reception inside or outside my apartment complex.
