Great Service because their aren't any apartments around, apartments cloud the service reception because they are more than one story.

The reception is so bad in this area. I usually hae to use somebodys phone instead of mine. And it's really terrible in Publix / Winn-Dixie. I only have 5 bars for a minute in Bloomingdale. Yhen there's only 1 bar. That's the thing about Sprint: the reception changes all the time!

I left an earlier post about poor Verizon reception in the Kingsway / Hwy 60 area (actually about 1 mile N.W. of there). My neighbor has T-Mobile, so I asked him if I could borrow his phone to perform a signal strength comparison between my Verizon Motorola V60s and his T-Mobile Motorola V330. I drove all over covering most of Seffner, parts of Brandon and Valrico. The T-Mobile signal strength averaged 1-2 bars better almost everywhere I went, sometimes 3. I recorded my results and compared them with T-Mobiles "Street Level Coverage Map". The results were consistent with their map, but I never saw less than 2 bars on the T-Mobile phone when the Verizon phone showed 1 bar several times. Needless to say, I switching to T-Mobile.

I was told by Verizon that there is a tower less than a mile from my house, but I get 1 bar inside AND outside my house and calls get dropped 90% of the time. I'm new to Verizon, and so far, not so good.

Great reception. I'm going on the family plan with the GSM Motorola V505. I hope the reception is as good in this area.
