I do not have any bars in my entire condo, and none in the parking lot. I need to leave the area to have reception. I have replaced the phone 2 times, and Sprint reps say that dropped service is normal in a busy area. I believe they do not have enough towers to accomodate their growing list of customers. I have been with them since Jan 2001, and only had problems in the last 4 months. They are not very receptive to helping. Does anyone know if switching to another service or an upgraded phone would help. Sounds like this area is a pocket of no service.

phone will not capture the tower at 8750 colonel dr - less than 1 mile away. instead, it chooses a tower in roswell over 4 miles away. Come on Sprint, sign some leases!

Only 3 bars on my Blackberry 8530 purchased thru Boostmobile provider on Cleveland Avenue.Online video performance is choppy due to constant buffering.Sometimes turning a page online results in a communication error dialogue box before I reclick and the page then turns.Absolutely no service in Kroger just a couple miles from where I bought the phone.Off and on service in DeKalb Farmer's Market.3G service EATS in East Point-same issues with my VirginMobile2Go broadband service.

Switched to Credomobile because I was fed up with AT and T. Credo uses Sprint network. I didn't realize Sprint coverage was so poor in Atlanta. I can't get reliable reception in my 11th floor apt.

Had been working fine except in certain buildings. Basically livable. Now my phone and my wife's phone (also Sprint) only connects 50% of the time. We can't call out or receive calls. Tech support can't figure out what the problem is. Only option I can see is switch providers.

I had perfect reception in my highrise condo up until a 4-6 weeks ago. Constant dropped calls, bad reception. My IPhone works fine.

My phone works mostly everywhere in Metro Atlanta even on marta most of the time, but I have coverage problems in East Atlanta on moreland ave. most if the time I spend on that street i'm roaming. Also in the douglasville area I 'm roaming alot.

Sprint works perfectly everywhere in the metro atlanta area. Only issues I have ever had were one part of Allatoona Lake but other than that no complains. Now my home state of New Hampshire is another story...

This area is in a valley, unfortunately I am here a lot of the time and get crumby reception. At either end of Chamblee Dunwoody, I get 5 bars.

Constantly drops calls even when standing in the same spot.

I've had Sprint service for about 10 years. When I first got it, they were the only ones who had good service where I traveled on I-20. Anyway, I've never had a problem except when I got a new phone. It was a Samsung and it sucked! I got no reception inside my house. As soon as I got my Sanyo phone that I use now, no more problems. I have coverage all over metro Atlanta with the occasional dropped call... maybe once every few months.

I live in Uptown Square apartments by the Lindbergh MARTA station off Piedmont Rd. and the reception for Sprint is horrible. I can never use my phone in my apartment without getting a dropped call or lots of breaking up. I have to go outside and hang over the balcony to have a chance of getting clear reception.

I have Sprint / Nextel and my service is not good at all. We are near the East Lake Country Club. I also have problems at my work location in Marietta. Looking at the cell tower map on this site, there are no towers anywhere for a 4-8 mile radius. A tip for Sprint folks, some of the new plans don't charge for roaming now. I switched to digital roaming and my Sprint coverage actually got better? Go figure. It may also depend on your phone. I also have a small Samsung and I get pretty good bars on that phone, but my Treo gets maybe one or two at the most. Another interesting note, the Sprint customer service tech told me that since I have an out of state cell phone number, my service would be degraded?? What? I thought it was nationwide service. He said it is the way the call gets routed and the towers it looks for or something like that? I still thought something wasn't quite right, so I'm keeping my number as is and do the free roaming. For the rest of the city on 20, 75 and 285, I really don't have an issue with Sprint.

No reception in my office, other parts of campus I get "digital roaming". In midtown Atlanta? Reception also sucks in Douglasville.

Could get 3-4 bars outsite, but get into a building and it becomes 0-1 bars. Sucks at GT campus.

Terrible cell reception in Berkeley Run Apartments. I have to stand in one specific spot to get any sort of reliable connection.

The absolute worse Sprint Reception ever in this area. I cannot make a phone call in my house without the call dropping. All other carriers work fine over here.

Just fine both outside and inside buildings right around this area, including in the lower levels of several concrete structures.

I am going to cancel Sprint soon, the reception is terrible in this area, and customer service sucks as well...

Solid signal with no dropped calls indoors or out. In fact I found very good reception throughout the Atlanta metro area.

Forget trying to use your Sprint phone on Briarcliff between Shallowford Rd and Clairmont Rd.

i am in atlanta for 3 weeks now and the phone service is terrible I have done the software upgrade and everything calls get dropped every 30 sec. on an everage

No service in my house but OK once you get down the road a little. Thought it might be theh phone but I tried a Nokia 3588 on loan and it did no better. My friend's T-Mobile works fine.

Sprint works in the city areas. Reach to my bed room and its good for playing games.

You can get reception with sprint in any major town or city, but when you go out to the boonies, expect nothing.
