Intermittant (and usually no) reception in GCB or Aderhold. Am lucky to find coverage with in 100 feet of school.

Lots of dropped calls and occasional static connections where you can barely hear the other person. Sometimes calls are ended just because my phone no longer wants me to talk to someone. I recieve text messages a day after they were sent. It is better than T-Mobile and Sprint for where I live. T-Mobile was laughable at home and work, the two most needed usage areas, as it simply didn't work unless I was outside. Sprint worked at home but not work. I am going to try Verizon.

VERIZON IS GREAT! I had ATT, it was bad and switched to Cingular. Cingular got worse and worse and worse. Dropped calls non-stop everywhere. Bad service everywhere. Dr.2 feet and better, drive 2 feet and worse. I just switched to Verizon after seeing Consumer Reports article about surveys saying that Verizon had best reception in Atlanta, with least number of dropped calls. In app. 2 months with Verizon GREAT RECEPTION. I've only had one dropped call total. With Cingular I got several dropped calls a day. Verizons reeptioin is great indoors and out. 30306 works everywhere. I love Verizon so far.

Complete hole on N. Decatur Rd.as you drive between Druid Hills and Morningside.

Live SW of Greenbriar Mall, have no problems with reception at any locations in town or out. Travel state of Georgia with my job and have found service to be wonderful. Have used phone for road emergencies when car broke down near Columbus one time and another near Augusta.

Good reception indoors unless I drive into the underground garage at my building, then my calls usually drop. Much better than Cingular at this location.

We don't have a landline at all. I have perfect reception around my neighborhood and into East Point, College Park, West End, Capitol View, etc. (The Kirkwood listing below was my mistyping the zip code; should have been 30317 - my old neighborhood)

I've called Verizon several times about this problem. They point out that there are 3 towers within a half mile and suspect the phone. The roaming capabilities are updated regularly and software has been updated by a store technician. It get perfect reception elseware. Around where Ponce de Leon turns to Scott, coverage is dropped altogether.

I have complained to AT&T and now Cingular for well over two years and all they do is LAUGH.. Another site is West Wesley between Peachtree and Northside, NO reception at all since day one.

No recpection indoors, I have to walk about 100 yards up the street to get reception.

I just moved back to Atlanta after 5 years in Athens, Ga., only to find I have practically no service in my apartment or anywhere near it. At night it jumps to four bars at times, but that is when reception is almost worse. Can't make a call. Driving through the Little 5 Points area, service still stinks. Not happy having to get a land line too.

I have never been anywhere in the Atlanta area where Verizon does not give me the highest signal.

when I'am out and about, reception is on fire! depending what kind of a building I'm in, I may get 3-4 bars..

Never had a problem in the area. Strong reception indoors in the meeting room.

no signal inside apartment; very low outside apartment; but Cingular and Sprint service have full signal inside apartment

it is sad that the mobile phone industy wants to sell $500 phonee that can not work to their potential.

Calls are routinely dropped and callers often say that I sound like I'm underwater. Service has been horrible very often, at times tolerable but never really acceptable.
