AT&T

1 Out of 5 (1 star) | Northridge | Roberts, Atlanta, GA 30350 |

I purchased a micro cell hoping that my reception would at least allow me to make calls within my home. This helped for awhile but now I find that the micro cell is unable to locate a signal so I'm back to no bars and horrible reception, if I can make a call at all. I will change providers when the contract expires... ..this is too frustrating. Makes me want to go back to a land line!

AT&T

0 Out of 5 (0 stars) | Briarcliff Rd. | Shallowford Rd., Atlanta, GA 30345 |

reception along Briarcliff Rd is horrible with any of the providers. We have an ATT microcell in our house which gives us a full signal... as long as the power doesn't go out. Dead spots include the Echo Lake / Lakeside High School area, Oak Grove, Briarcliff Rd between Clairmont and N Druid Hills

Sprint

1 Out of 5 (1 star) | GA400: Northridge To Windward Pkwy. Exits | 21st Century, Atlanta, GA 30350 |

I commented on this site almost a year ago, and have complained to Sprint endlessly about the poor data connection / speed (3g or 4g) AND the random cell phone drops on GA400. Now I am experiencing many "network failures" on my texts. it shows message not sent but my recipient says the message is being delivered 5 or 6 times. I contacted Sprint this morning if they had an app I could install that would capture signal history and GPS to help them visualize how bad it is - of course they said no. I formally asked for a technician to visit the area with meters to test signals and post a report somewhere. Glad my contract is almost up.

Verizon

1 Out of 5 (1 star) | Mount Vernon and Dunwoody Club - Brooke Farm Neigh, Atlanta, GA 30338 |

We tried switching to Verizon wireless and we will be returning our phones. Our coverage is usually 1 bar, with the occasional 2 bars. Most calls are dropped in the Brooke Farm neighborhood and the calls are garbled before being dropped.

1 Out of 5 (1 star) | Simmitridge Dr. | Kim Ct., Atlanta, GA 30340 |

Reception has grown steadily worse over the past few months. used to be able to get 2 to 3 bars on my phone. Now I'm very lucky if I can get 1 bar and most times no reception. The coverage really SUCKS at my house either inside or outside makes no difference. IT'S ABOUT TIME TO CHANGE CARRIERS. CAN'T LIVE WITH THIS.

2 Out of 5 (2 stars) | Ashfrod Dunwoody | 285, Atlanta, GA 30346 |

I have been receeiving dropped calls, apparent static coming from my end when some people call in and when I call out to other cell phones in south Ga Im getting nothing but static. Ive called Sprint Custoner service and 3 times I was promised a call back within 48 hours and it never happened. The last two agents said my complaint could not escalate any further and nothing could be done. Would not let me out of my contract without a big fine so I complained to the FCC.

Sprint

it seems Sprint has abandoned the GA400 corridor. anywhere between Northrdge exit and windward parkway, you are subject to random drops and stuttering transmissions. I have called several timesand they say they are updating the towers but I do not believe them.

Some days I have 5 bars and the other days I have 1 or less. It is so infuriating.

Verizon

2 Out of 5 (2 stars) | Phipps Blvd., Atlanta, GA 30326 |

I can make calls and send texts, but I don't receive calls or text messages at all (the phone doesn't even ring). If I make a call out to someone else, I will then receive the text messages that I failed to receive previously. I have no clue what calls I have missed unless they leave a voicemail (and people hardly leave those anymore). I've gone through 2 replacement phones and they all had the same problem. My phone shows 3 or 4 bars, but Verizon told me that the location is a marginal coverage area, so the quality of the coverage is what is keeping me from receiving calls and texts. I used to live in the Peachtree Hills area and had the same problem there. They suggested that I leave my phone on the window sill to maximize reception or buy a signal extender. How about I just switch companies?
