Ever since ATT took over Cingular - service is HORRIBLE and getting worse constantly. Get reception in only 2 spots in the house and that isn't guaranteed. They tried to "sell" me a booster" to strengthen service - but would not guarantee it would work and it was non-returnable for refund if did not work! Contract is almost up - and switching service providers.

This is a Straight Talk plan from Walmart and it is Awesome. We travel everywhere with the phone and we have never had a problem with it. We live in Huntington West and at the bottom of the subdivision and reception is great. Have to warn you though, there are some phones that have a G in the codes and they are on a T-Mobile tower and do not work as well. You have to get the phones with C in the code for Verizon Towers. Have to ask Walmart associates to explain the difference, but great phone and plan overall. Very satisfied!

You can't beat Verizon. I've had T-Mobile, Sprint and MetroPCS. Metro is OK. A couple of bars. Sprint and T Mobile drop calls in my house. Verizon works without issues. Note: Straighttalk from Walmart works great, however you must get the Verizon network phone. Straighttalk has GSM phones that use TMobile's network. Those phone stink here.

Ever since the summer of '10 the service has been the worst been with them since feb. of '09 and it has been nothing but a waist of money switching yo Sprint they were better and cheaper hate to go but they need to step up there game

Reception was good until 11 / 01 / 2009 Phoned in report via land line. No service ticket issued.

Well my friend has Verizon Wireless but he gets at least 2-4 bars at his house but I get 1-3 bars at my house and he only lives across the street. The only reason I like Verizon wireless is because it works in alot of places and about all my family members and my friends have it, but it still works.

I saw the Cell coverage on Sprint and it said one bar but when I moved here it had at least 4 to 6 bars I was suprised but thank you never had a dropped call but I want to change to Verizon wireless.

I have had Sprint, Cingular, and AT&T with poor reception at this home location for years. Sprint says they'll fix it someday. Not a priority.

I have drop calls all the time. I have 1 bar even when I'm by the cell tower. I usually have to drive around until I get a good signal. I have had 5 of these phones replaced and still having problems.

There has been no service at my home or on my street since I moved here in 1989. I made a few phone call in the middle of Apr 06, much to my surprise, my neighbors and I now have full blown signal everywhere. It is amazing what can get done when you finally make the right contact. Been a customer since 1984. Thanks Cingular for razing the BAR. jim

I live 4 miles east of I-985 and cannot get decent reception from my home. The bars are always 1 or 2, often times none. Sometimes I can get up to 3 when I go on the back deck (no other place outside hower) and even then it can be difficult to hear people-a lot of static.

We only get 1 bar in the house our outside and calls drop off. If you are at the top of the hill, you get about 2-3. We are thinking of switching to Cingular but don't know if that is any better.

Called Verizon, went to store for update, bought new phones and still no service in my home. Going to go to another provider.

My Blackberry goes between 0 and 2 bars at my home (mostly 0). This is very frustrating considering the Blackberry is my means of getting work related email when I am not in the office.

I consistently drop calls one mile south of Hwy. 20 on I-985.
