Friday (June 24th) is when my problems started, I called customer service and they said it was a tower problem and should be fixed later that day... and it was. Saturday morning I stated having the same problem, I called and was told it was a separate tower problem that started after a storm Friday night / Saturday morning. I spent 1.5 hrs on the phone with Tech Support, after doing resets, disconnecting and reconnecting to the network it still doesn't work. I have 1 bar sometimes 3 and sometimes none. I've never had a problem in my house. I was told I needed to get a new SIM card... I guess we'll see how that works. I've been with AT&T for 8.5 years, and this is the first time I've had problems with signal... I can go 2 miles down the street and I have 5 bars... I have 3 lines and only 2 of them are doing this... .weird

One minute there are 3-5 bars, next searching for signal... all while standing still!

No problems with reception or calls being dropped.

no to little recedptions inside and out T-mobile is little better with Blackberry Pearl

Well I am actually commenting on Straight Talk, which runs on the Verizons "Pre-Paid" network. I have been ALL over metro Atlanta and North GA / GA Mountains and have yet lost signal or had a dropped call. I pay $30 a month for 1000 min, 1000 text, 30mb data and free 411. Thats all I need, but they do offer unlimited everything for $45. They don't have the most up-to-date and fancy nancy phones but do offer very functional and rather good quality phones. I really don't see why people spend so much money on cell service when there are so many options today. It really goes to show how many don't do there home work first.

Decent to good on the road, but NEVER reception at several homes I've been to in the area.Looking to switch so I can drop my unused home phone, which averages 5-10 bucks a call for the few times I use it every month.

T-mobile does not have any reception and have called T-Mobile several times, but no solution. if I have to cancel my service, they have $ 200 termination fee... worst customer service ever... Do not go with T-mobile...

I have had Helio since before they were bought out by Virgin mobile. I never had any problems when I lived in Alpharetta and no problems when I visit Dahlonega! But I recently moved to Cumming, GA and the reception is terrible! I rarely get above two bars in the house. have to step outside to make a call and even then the connection is spotty. After reading the rest of these reviews I give up. I'll get a land-line at some point.

Signal very bad, never can maintain signal and bad further west.

Low reception on main floor of house and outside deck. No reception from basement. Friend has Verizon and works perfectly with 2 different phones and has no problem at all.

Most aggrevating service ever, just when you think it has service, it loses it... and the people at Sprint and Nextel could care less... until you cancel, then they only care about their $200.00 that feels like $2000 considering the aggrevation and disappointment of working with them.

Sporatic reception for my air card... sometimes recieving as much as 1.25 meg, but also as low as 36 kilo! High jitter speed also... too high for anything more than broken sound on VoIP. I am less than 1500 feet from tower and can see the tower from my window!

Poor to no reception. Getting worse the more houses go up. Didnt seem to be a problem but now drops are more a more frequent.

Poor service outside, no service inside. Lot's of house going up, no cell service. Verizon and T-Mobile have decent coverage in the same subdivision.

Signal strength used to be Great, now it is terrible and has been for the past year.

I can't get any reception usually, very little reception sometimes. I have to go out to my driveway to make a call on my telephone. I have called T-Mobile many times, and they say the area should be good. It is good in places on Dr. Bramblett Road, but not in my Subdivision. I am going to have to cancel my contract, and pay $200.00 early cancellation fee. Think about that before you sign with this company. They will not budge on that, even though they have no solution to my problem.

Won't work in my house; sometimes works on the deck or up the hill. We're in a creek valley, so cell towers are impossible to see. Also drops out pretty bad when crossing the dam into Gwinnett County (near a cell tower; must not be Verizon's!) Works much better at my office, where T-Mobile doesn't.

Signal is horrible. Get zero bars in some parts of the house and 3 bars in others. If I walk across the room call will get dropped. I'll be switching I guess to Verizon.

Phone works great... ... anywhere in the house or outside.
