I was excited to finally upgrade to a smartphone, only to have all of my calls drop inside the house. Sometimes I couldn't even dial out. I use my phone for work too, so this was unacceptable. I switched back to my old trustworthy Sony regular cell phone--which works without any problems at all.

Many dropped calls over the past two months. And one when I was on a phone interview. Am currently testing a Verizon Droid Incredible 2 and receiving excellent results.

i hate my AT&T phone I locked up on me when I pulled it out if you are looking for an cell phone company I rather for you to go with Metro PCS or Verzion Wireless or Sprint

Excellent reception with 3G indoors. Calls occasionally drop even with full signal strength.

Almost no coverage indoors, calls drop often.

Little or no reception in Apartment. Only one bar to two in bedroom, other rooms no bar have to use bluetooth for calls. However I can only get a decent signal at the intersection of Mountain Dr. and Covington Hwy. Reported it to T-Mobile was told they would check and call me back,still waiting since a year ago, eventually had to get comcast digital to cover for emergencys can't rely on cell phone Otherwise its ok from there on.

reception is fine at home. not in school (Renfroe--downtown Decatur). Very difficult to make calls from school. Phone sucks.

Sprint Reception is awful in Medlock Park in N. Decatur. Looks like Verizon is the only other one worth trying.

I have spotty reception, even when at full bars. Phone is in fine condition and works well elsewhere. Signal goes in and out from 5 bars to none. No large land obstructions here. Still amazes me that Cingular is so crappy near its home city. Just moved back from Guatemala where the cell signal is near perfect at all times.

Never get service for the quarter of a mile that my apartment complex is located at. T-Mobile sucks.

My coverage goes out at least once or twice along Ponce in between Decatur and Briarcliff. At the Scott Blvd.intersection, there is no reception and I have to drive almost a half mile in any direction to pick up a signal again.

As you drive past Narvie Harris Elematary school the reception drops completly every time. This dead zone extends up to 1 / 2 mile as you cross the south river bridge on Flakesmill road.

In my apartment I generally get one bar if I'm standing by a window. Outside I get two bars. And yet according to T-Mobile's online coverage map this is a four bar area. I had been roaming with an Alltel phone for the past few weeks and still managed five bars inside the apartment. I may well be switching back to Alltel.

I back out of my street (Pinetree Drive, a little less than 1 mile from Decatur 's Square), and things are 1 - 2+ in terms of reception. I get to the intersection with Scott, and it just ain't happening. This was not the case when I had Cingular, altho the quality was generally 1 - 3. Have to travel up / down Scott before I can get anything. Doing business out of the house is pretty hinchy if it's by the mobile. Sucks, I but doubt the neighborhood wants another nearby tower. You'd think that with transmitters atop Stone Mountain and the Georgia Pacific building (both rooms carry signs bewaring you of intense and unhealthy electromgnetic radiation, advising protective suits if you have to work in there--my employer hastwo-way radio equipment there, and I have to enter from time to time) that this wouldn't be an issue, given the coverage spread. Oh well. (BTW, GPTV transmitts from Stone Mountain too, as do several other outfits. There really is competition for space at both locations, given the great coverage they provide)

I get poor to no reception at home in Oakhurst with Cingular. I generally need to go out in the back yard to make a call if I don't want to get cut off. On the rare occasions I do get a decent signal, it's with a roaming surcharge. I'll definitely be switching once this contract is up.

I have no reception on the east end of the georgia tech campus. The phone says I have reception, usually 2-3 bars, but the calls usually don't come through, or they are dropped within a minute of picking them up. I've also called Sprint to complain, and they tell me that must mean I need a software update, which requires an additional service charge. Of course, last time this happened to my phone, Sprint told me the same thing, and the coverage didn't really get any better.

Good or near perfect reception within City of Decatur city limits, however inside my home (also within the city limits, just south of East College Av.) reception is poor and usually requires me to step outside to use phone.

Service =outside= is good, but inside my apartment I often have to either go to one of the front windows or endure lost words and even dropped signal.
