Voice and messaging is fine, but the 3G is AWFUL. Indoors or out, and anywhere in the Evans area seems to just be worthless.

I get ok service at my home thank God but we have a lake house in Linconton and I get NO service there at all. I am always having dropped calls and no bars. I am getting ready to switch my service. I pay good money for a phone I can not get service on. This service is horrible!

Recently moved to Sprint from T-Mobile. In an area of the town that gets spotty coverage as it is due to the hills and dead zones, my Sprint HTC Evo shines. I never get any less than 3 bars in my home where I was lucky to get up to 2 bars on T-Mobile. I average 4 bars, but I can achieve a full 5 bars after 8pm.

I have all bars when traveling all the way down Washington rd and Belair Rd. with no problems.Sprint is the best!

Dropped calls every time at gate #1 ft gordon and then driving north from gate #1 to wrightsboro rd. Reported to T-Mobile customer service "611" 4x over 2 years. No changes yet. Now researching new carrier to make switch after 4 years.

Surprisingly good reception, standing on the dock by my boat. Pointes West Marina right off Washington Road, just before the Little River Bridge. I got equally good reception from the Little River Marina just across the way. Just the same, if you are driving around or boating on the lake, all the networks are spotty. I got no reception at Trade Winds Marina just a few miles down along the lake.

T-Mobile Coverage is generally pretty good in the area - at Augusta State Uni it is certainly the carrier with the best reception inside buildings getting close to full strength signal. There are a couple of places between Evans and downtown where reception drops to 1 bar - but not enought to be a problem. The mall does have very poor to zero reception.

Deeps dropping calls, called provider several times for work order and possible resolution, but to no avail - will change providers as soon as contract is up - GRRR!

I used to have T-Mobile and their service was ok but still no reception in the house. I changed to Sprint PCS and now have 3 to 5 bars in the house. The mm8300 is on sale for $80.00 (normally $280.00 with a plan if your having problems in Evans like I was check out Sprint, I'll never use T-Mobile again $200 disconnect fee or not. Feb 2006

Get 1 to 3 bars depending on location, time of day and wind direction.

Have complained to Verison But Have been given the run around. They said they would check the problem and get back to me but never did. They also said they would end my oblication with them if they could not satisfy me but they haven't. I still have poor coverage with them. But when my contract is up with them I will never use there service again.

On a good day, I can walk out onto my balcony and get one bar of reception. From here to Fort Gordon the signal is sporadic. It is next to impossible to keep a signal while in buildings. T-Mobile has been a real disappointment.

Been quite happy with reception in most parts of Evans. As I get toward the lake, signal strength drops a bit, but not too bad.

I have been real happy with service around Augusta and Columbia County using T-Mobile.
