Very good voice reception in and around my home. I have had other wireless carriers in the past, and always had terrible reception, dropped calls, and calls that never rang - just went straight to voice mail. Service is comparably expensive. Data is not as reliable as voice.

Between exits 8 and 12 the reception is very poor in and out, but everywhere around I do not drop calls very much. There is no service in the Jackson County and Maysville area. I will say that the customer service of TMOBile and the inexpensive plans make up for any signal related problems. I am now out of my contract period, but still choose them as my carrier. Thank you T-mobile. They do not cut you off if you are a few days late on your payment either... .Big plus

Good reception at home and in town(Gainesville, GA). Full bars, no complaints. Well, maybe a little bitty bit of "white noise" when the colume is turned up, but other than that, it's a good area.

For some reason I have poor reception inside my house but outside it's better. My dad and sister also have Cingular and their reception is great just about anywhere.

Very spotty reception. My wife's Cingular works much better.

Company phone - little or no service. Hoping to switch to ATT soon and hope fo rhe best. So far no wireless phone has worked very well here.

Since May with 3G "on" best is one bar. Turn off 3G and 3 bar signal (on Edge)is normal Little or no 3G service Old Verizon, Casio G phone (waterproof brick) get 4 bar min in a side by side (backup)

Very poor coverage north of Hwy. 60 - At my house the service only works if I stand in exactly the "sweet" spot.

We have no coverage in the house - Verizon says it is because of the lake, and won't even send out a tech. Outside we have poor reception and frequent dropped calls. Very unhappy with Verizon as a whole, and looking to see if Cingular is any better. I can see a tower, but it must not be Verizon!

Had CINGULAR for many years with few or no problems in local reception but some areas that I traveled in Virginia had no service. Had to switch to VERIZON at a premium price. Switched all phones in family, four of them. Am paying almost $300 per month. Previous to some "improvements" about 6 months ago my VERIZON reception seemed to work fine. Since then service is terrible. Live in a three story home. Phones will ring maybe one time in ten calls. Messeges come in very well every time. Even more difficult to dial out. I will put the number in and push send and nothing happens. Sometimes 3 to 5 minutes later it will work. The signal will go from 5 bars to 1 bar but still will not work. Am at my wits end. My phone is for business and I know I am missing business calls. Verizon admits we have a problem saying blaming it one time on the Lake and then that their cell towers are over two miles from us.
