Reception is sporadic. Dropped calls and no service very frequently. According to AT&T map, my address is on the fair to poor area but for $200 for a piece of equipment and an additional $15 a month fee, service is guaranteed 100% of the time. What am I paying for now???? No thanks!

Toggle between 1 bar of service to SOS only. My husband (also on Cingular) has a Motorola phone that gets 2, at best 3, bars. Service is HORRIBLE out here and Cingular's response is "we have towers all over your area, not sure what your problem is... " What a load of CRAP!

Very poor reception inside the house. My kids have Verison and get good reception. I will change to something else at the end of my contract.

Service is very inconsistant, signal will go from full to gone within 3 minutes sitting still. Moved from T-Mobile thinking Cingular's coverage would be better. Bad move in this area. From I-85 and Pleasant Hill Rd. heading north. continously dropping calls. Very poor for a major interstate in an area that if Cingular is refering to as "rural" then they have missed the boat here.
