No reception at all on my RAZR or my wife's Nokia 6210i on Kimwood Court. Signal barely makes it to 1 bar at top of Kimwood as it intersects Cedars Road.

Bruster's on Lawrenceville-Suwanee Rd. / McKendree Church Rd., Lawrenceville, GA 30043 |
Fri Jun 10, 2005 |
I live right behind the Bruster's at McKendree Church Rd. and Lawrenceville-Suwanee Rd. The signal strength on our T-Mobile phones, both my Nokia 3595 and my wife's Samsung e105, is pretty bad at our house. Only about 2 of 5 bars, and sometimes it drops altogether. Most other places around Atlanta it's pretty good.

No reception at the end of Kimwood Court (down a hill). Reception begins at junction with Cedars. Other nearby streets without good reception include Azelea Drive.

I recently dropped sprint. There customer service is poor, and everyone I talked to said they heard an echo when they talked to me. The Sprint reps said that they didn't hear anything and did nothing about the problem. I bought a new phone to see if that would work and it didn't. There is nothing clear or free about there clear and free plans. Sprint sucks. They couldn't retain a four year customer. Too bad.

Signal is good outside my home, but when I go inside, the reception drops. However, I think it's my phone. People be warned, the signal issue isn't always with the carrier. My wife's samsung gets full signal in places I have zero! I think the T610's signal sensitivity is just extremely low compared to other models.

Using a Nokia 3360 on AT&T's old network. I have never had a dropped call. Even get good reception (albeit on roam) up in the mountains.
