0-2 bars. I can move from one side of the couch to the other side and my phone says I am entering a new service area. I switch from Verizon to AT&T and there was no improvement in the signal. If I try to make a call between 7-7:45pm, the call gets droppped

Had Great Reception Up Until About A Month Ago. Now It's Horrible. Every Call I Make Is Dropped If I Can Even Get Service. Been With AT&T Now For 7 Years Because Of Their Service But This Is Rediculous.

Get 5 bars, but constant dropped calls in the house, no missed calls, no text messages. Very intermintent. AT&T customer care recommends a microcell tower for home... $150! I don't think I should have to pay for their reception problems.

1-2 bars reception at most. Never more. Shows 3G all the time but I don't use the data on my phone because it's too difficult to connect. I connect using our cable Internet WIFI instead.

We can sometimes get 2 bars if we go outside. Gee, what fun, standing out in the rain to talk on the phone. Had great coverage last place we lived (CA), but now I have to seriously consider changing providers as our cell phones are practically useless.

Fluctuates between 0-no reception and 1-poor reception. When 3g is on, it always stays on 3g no matter how bad a reception there is. Family also has a Blackberry which usually has 1 or 2 bars.

Way too many dropped calls on this section of Johnson Ferry Road. This is a major thoroughfare to East Cobb / Roswell suburbs, and AT&T ought to have it well covered, but they do not.

While I get pretty good reception on my commute to the top-end perimeter, my reception at home is poor. My home is located in a small ravine which is likely causing most of the problem. There are two hill-bottoms in my area that will cause you to lose a call when driving. My wife has a Verizon phone and seems to get much better coverage than I.

I have had FOUR different phones with Cingular and gone through numerous firmware and sim card changes- the coverage just sucks. I am constantly getting full bars up until the time I hit send. Then I drop to no bars or just one. Also, I am always having problems with dropped calls or more often being unable to complete calls with network busy or call failed errors.

I have had Cingular wireless for about a year now. I only get about 2 bars in my house and when I go out of town in the rural parts of tennessee, I will roam off of T-Mobile sometimes. I believe that I get better coverage when roaming that when I use cingulars network. Will be switching to Verizon Wireless becuase they have alot better coverage. My 58 year old dad has Verizon and get better coverage than cingular. If you read this go to Verizon Wireless. I have four phone on my family plan. I play about $170.00 for four phones with no addit. options no internet text messageing. Or anything of that nature. That taxt you "out the wazoo" so be carful when signing with a GSM carrier. They also have more static on there lines that a CDMA carrier does... GO WITH VERIZON!!

Cingular is the worst. I have an employee plan, formorly AT&T but Cingular changed me and now I pay more, get terrible signal and a lot of lame excuses from customer service. Bottom line, they lie to sign you up and don't have quality service where I live and that's where I need my phone. I think I'll pay to get out of their trap and move to Verizon.William Harris.

I live near here and I used to have problems all the time with my other phone. Now that I bought a new Razer I have not had a single dropped call or an unclear call - I guess it has a better transmitter? Regardless, I am very impressed with my cell phone service now! I talk to my husband who has the same phone I used to have and it sounds aweful, but if I call someone from the same spot with my new phone my call is great!

In and around this area the signal fluctuates greatly. Having gone from AT&T to Cingular, using a GAIT phone (Nokia 6340i), reception was better than in the past. However, with a Nokia 6230, a Nokia 6620, a Motorola V551 and a Motorola RAZR in our home, I am amazed that GSM works better than the old TDMA. Signal went from 0-1 bar to 1-2+ bars, and much fewer dropped calls (we're NOT on top of a hill or mountain!).

Good reception in and out of home in this area. Wife has lately been getting "Cingular Extend" in downtown Atlanta, but that may be due to merge with AT&T. Phone also useable up on the mountains north of Dahlonega, and down along the AL/GA line south of Columbus, and in Destin. Very rarely can we not get a decent signal.
